Every society has an "economy" even those digging for roots and grubs, have an economy of sorts. Your man Big Dada had an economy, he just didn't have any money. If Uganda had cash reserves of any kind, they had been well and truly plundered by Amin and his cronies long before the jumbo jets stopped flying. Shonky I know you only have a primary school education, I think you said that, but a little reading of World History will tell you Amin's "economic" policies totally bankrupted the country. That left Britain to give supposed aid to Uganda in the form of a monthly plane load of luxury goods to help keep the butcher they were supporting in power.
"The Ugandan economy was devastated by Idi Amin's policies, including the expulsion of Asians, the nationalisation of businesses and industry, and the expansion of the public sector. The real value of salaries and wages collapsed by 90% in less than a decade."
