Any Western Nation would jump a mile high if they could have the opportunities that Africa offers !
It's Africa's people who need to change for their sake, not the rest of the World !
Anyone who watched the African 'Wet Markets" on SBS last night, could not help but agree !

Race matters. There is a reason that Nigeria is as it is and Japan is as it is. It is the racial differences between the two countries. If you have enough Mexicans you will have Mexico. This can be clearly seen in some parts of England where you might be mistaken for thinking you were living in Pakistan. We need to be very careful about where we get our immigrants from lest we end up providing perpetual welfare for some and being ruled over by others. In addition we need to stop demonising ourselves and our history and our ancestors lest the people whos ancestors built this great nation become a despised and persecuted minority in their own land. Currently we teach white children to be ashamed of their people and teach non-white immigrants that we are an inherently evil society. This is not a recipe for a strong and cohesive society.

Our forbears were not innocent and blameless as they colonised half a world and plundered the wealth of half a world. We the unborn were not implicated in any way nor should the colour of our white, black or brindle skin determine the content of our character or our intellectual capabilities!

But with the bad, there is some good and the British brought with them the Westminister system of jurisprudence. And an inherent sense of fair play, mostly.

We cannot judge the whole on the activities of a few bad apples nor even fewer inherently evil A-holes. We did build cities and towns and a country many envy! Imperfect as we may still be as a capitalist society that predates on the poor and downtrodden as we seek more and more money and power! while dropping a few tardy crumbs along our path. Justifying it with claims that the world will always produce the poor and downtrodden? Wrong! Not everybody gets a fair go, nor opportunities to lift themselves up on their own endeavours!

In an inherently rich country, the poor and downtrodden are the product of the design or neglect of the arrogant rich as they purloin the wealth created by other hands and minds, then hoard as much of it as they're able! For them covid has revealed, so as you sow, so also will you reap! As you do unto the least among you, you also do unto me! Quote, unquote.

Perhaps when around two-thirds of the world's population are wiped out by a continually mutating pathogen? We may decide to turn back and take a more righteous and sharing path, even those owned by the deceitful coal lobby/the fossil fuel industry and totalitarian dictators?

Just about all wrongs in the Past were due to ignorance. Greed was & is a major player but ignorance was & is THE major player.
Many are doing everything possible but the masses of the blame brigade will sabotage their every move to make things better.
Some of those who descended from those who were exploited in the past are now the oppressors & saboteurs ruining efforts to make a better World. It's the pay-back mentality of those who have actually benefitted from colonisation but don't want to accept that benefits must be earned. To simply sit back & demand by perpetually pointing at wrongs of the past is what prevents them to progress & actually leads them to the outcome they so strongly oppose.

As far as Africa is concerned they have had sole possession of a
continent rich in all resources. Despite this they have been incapable
of rising to the civilisational level of Europe or Asia.
It has to be assumed that they are naturally incapable of such achievement.
Their best of course can compare with the best anywhere.
By introducing large numbers of Africans a country will import the
standard of Africa. Watch the African ghettoes of Europe.
France is probably the best example. France however has made their
situation worse by introducing large numbers of African and Middle
Eastern moslems, who have been inbreeding for some thousands of years
with the expected result.
Now the French generals are threatening Civil War !

Now anyone who dislikes what I have written, which would probably get
me up before some tribunal elsewhere, but threatened here by the
Victorian government, can show me where I am wrong.
I can understand why the snowflakes will have to take a Bex and have
a nice lie down.

I read the population of Africa is set to double. Along with the doubling of the population will come
the multiplying of the already corrupt, bad conditions in Africa. Africa has been receiving massive world aid for decades.
It doesn’t seem to have made any difference to the problems they always seem to have.

Do we really need all these Imported people? Causing division and conflict. What if we had to manage as an Island with
only our own resources. I think it’s just become an easy, lazy, way to make a lot of money. There was no travelling all around
the world in planes 90 years ago.

Ships took 3 months to arrive from England. And people had to spend a month in quarantine after they arrived.
There were certainly no big cruise ships. In a lot of ways it was a more peaceful way of life. People had chickens,
grew veggies and fruit trees and exchanged produce with each other.

People grew veggies on the outskirts of town and came around the streets selling them.In a truck.
It wasn’t, a make huge profits kind of society but it was not lacking in essential needs and a more laid back slower pace.
It would be interesting to see how well we could survive without importing so many people to make profits for
big business and the middlemen.

I think we would do very well with a more community based economy,once we adjusted.
