By Guy Hallowes, published 3/5/2021

Currently the developed world's response is just to try to prevent migrants from entering their territories.

Au contraire my dear Hassy.

Transportation to NSW turned out to be a blessing in disguise for the GGG and indeed for her English convict Husband, who really got the equivalent of todays 'good behaviour bond' 7 years transportation, they married within their class. Interestingly the girls of the marriage had no problem marrying white European men, but the boys were destined to marry aboriginal or part aboriginal women. Fortunately my forebears did rather well, with my GGG dying in 1891 a relatively wealthy "pastoralist" in the Wellington district of NSW. The "run" they built and expanded over the years is still mostly in my families hands today.

You call me a racists or anti white, no indeed, unlike my first cousin I have no desire to obtain Aboriginal recognition. I should say without the help early on from her white mistress and husband and his father at Bathurst NSW, in obtaining her freedom from bondage, and I suspect they may have helped them financially in some way as well, very good people, the success of the above may not have been possible. My GGG and her former Mistress and family remained firm friends till the end of their lives.

What I will do Hassy is call out apologists and histories revisionists, others with wacko ideas like you on the forum when I see it. Just as I called you out for proposing the nuclear annihilation of 200 innocent men, women and children in Pakistan, and more recently your call for the stopping of aid to people in Africa which again would lead to many, many deaths. Now just who is the racists?

What with shonkyminister, totally worthless Ugandan shillings? The Ugandan shilling was not even worth 20 trillion to the dollar, it had been suspended on the international currency exchange. Amin had no gold, no foreign currency and you say a monthly Jumbo Jet load of luxury goods landing in Kampala may have been purchased on the open market. You make me laugh.

At the time were you by any chance the Ugandan Finance Minister?

The story goes; The Ugandan Air Force, had but one jet fighter, two actually, but the second had been cannibalized to keep the other heap flying. Armin ordered the purchase of a fleet of new fighters! The shonky Finance Minister informed Big Dadda that the country had no money to make such a purchase. Amin ordered the FM to turn on the presses and print more money! The FM said to do so the money would still be worthless. Amin said to the FM; "Whose image is on the MONEY!"..."Yours, your Excellency." Amin; "Are you saying my image is WORTHLESS?"...Finance Minister; "I will have the printing presses turned on immediately your Excellency."

Pauliar,

You have yet to show that a Jumbo jet full of luxuries was sent to Uganda and given your mendacious record I call BS on this.

Secondly, Uganda's budget even though small could easily be diverted to purchasing luxuries in Jumbo loads, the socialist North Korea buys more than that for the elite. Perhaps you were the finance minister there it has all the hallmarks of Greens incompetence. ( I was still in primary school)

Thirdly, at the time of the Israeli raid on Entebbe Uganda had about 6 new russian fighter jets (afterwards none)

shonkyminister, you are still in primary school! North Korea unlike Uganda at the time, does have an economy, small as it is, relying heavily on China for both imports and exports. In 2019 North Korea exported about $308 million in goods. Shonky, a big export of NK is fake hair, maybe that's where your man Donald got his fake hair from.

Today China is the great benefactor of North Korea, just as Britain was of Uganda back in Big Dadda's day.

Australia can stand on the side lines claiming unique environment requiring low population and hence no immigration; though no one cares about what the fossil fuels, mining, agriculture, automotive/logistics, industrial and anti-renewable energy sources have done to Australia's environment, supported by the LNP and voters? (Stockholm Syndrome?).

However, with ageing populations and (quickly) declining fertility, some experts see a natural readjustment occuring by mid century then decline (Australia's permanent population much sooner with oldies/baby boomer bubble departing); Bricker & Ibbitson's 'Empty Planet' synthesises more recent and credible research on global population (and expressed issues with UNPD* analysis e.g. inflated fertility rates in India/China skewing headline data).

The issue for many nations including PRC, how to support the tax base with ageing populations and meeting labour market demand due to ageing workforces; immigration or worker mobility like between the EU nations (and Oz states).

According to Ian Goldin of the Oxford Martin Centre*, part of the solution is in Africa which will become a more significant source of immigration or at least temporary workers.

* Both have a linkage to the Rockefeller Foundation.

Pauliar,

So you are claiming that in the 70s that Uganda had no economy?

Once again you combine idiocy with ignorance.

PS, where is your evidence of Jumbo jets full of luxuries? Just another of your lies.
