And, so it is. What is someone who doesn't know this: a sub-moron, perhaps.

" … we don't want the borders open". 'We' being who, exactly? People who don't understand how the economy works and relies on the interchange of goods and people. The real morons and idiots who won't talk about the massive success of Taiwan, where there were no lockdowns, masks, destruction of the economy. All this yabber about relativism and racism, yet when an Asian country is the one only to get it right, there's silence.

You want to call people morons? Go for Scott Morrison and the State premiers who have completely abrogated their duties to public servants who have opted for safe government jobs because they were no good and playing doctors and providing their own living.

Australian politicians are enjoying the power and fear of the virus as much as their Communist counterparts who provided it.

I've got the solution! I call it the SOOT MORRISON APPROACH.

Just pretend there is no WuFlu pandemic. On a certain date and time determined by Soot we all just start acting as if the WuFlu doesn't exist.

Everybody gets up in the morning and gets dressed and goes off to school, work, etc.

No more restrictions: Everyone has a crowds are good mentality.

State and international borders are fully open. Virgin and QANTAS go back to flying in tens of thousands of people from China, India, Middle East, America, etc. each day.

No more 14 days quarantine for incoming people.

Definitely get rid of the face masks and don't even mention the idea of developing a vaccine. "Vaccine? Vaccine for what?" will be the catch cry.

And if things don't go the way Soot wants then Soot accepts responsibility and resigns.

When do we start?

The Taiwanese, Japnese, Koreans and Chinese live in extreme congestion and as a rule, wear masks when they get a cold/flu.

Their success rate attributable to social cohesion/social compliance! The practice of routinely worn masks, social distancing/hand-hygiene!

This killer virus is spread by non-compliant folk! By those whose employment is the most precarious,i.e., those folk who cannot afford under any circumstance to take one sick day, let alone a whole fortnight!

If we did not foster poverty as official policy! We could have done as well as Taiwan or Japan, which does not officially sanction poverty! But effectively mitigates against it.

We need to prosper our own rather than replace them with imported cheap labour just to keep a lid on non-existant wages growth!

The only way we can do that is by adopting free-market, private enterprise, cooperative capitalism. Rather than giving tax breaks to tax-avoiding, price-gouging, profit-repatriating, foreign multinationals/debt-laden foreign-investors.

AND IN ECONOMIC TERMS A RELATIVELY SHORT TERM, ECONOMIC SUGAR HIT!

Understand three things, this virus will never ever be under control here until we have an effective, safe vaccine/mandated inoculation! Those refusing sent to offshore quarantine until they volunteer! On the understanding that this pandemic is spread and respread by infected humans, most of who will show no symptoms, i.e., be Asymptomatic!

That the economy is tanking/heading for a disaster/cliff and Depression!

The only private enterprise, free-market business model to survive the Great Depression largely intact, was the co-op!

Also understand that governments can borrow at half the rate of private enterprise, only need to break even! Are not tied to executive bonuses or shareholder dividends, where most of the much vaunted tax breaks will manifest?

This money, billions would serve us better in building eternally delayed infrastructure/and or supporting new officially sponsored and supported Employee owned and controlled co-ops!

The latter insuring that the normal economic flow on factors makes one dollar do the work of seven or more and that that money stays in OUR economy until exhausted!
