Please tell me just how big in your imagination you think these generators are suppose to be?

I know crap like this is flowing across the pages you follow, like the Teslas the organisers were said to have purchased for the event, but so much of it is crap.

You really have to stop swallowing this hook line and bloody sinker.

Electric cars as they are today in Aus are a huge scam. For starters, the energy input to making the batteries and motors means that the EV cars need to run for about 70 000km before they have compensated for the emissions during their construction.

Secondly, in Aus the electricity is still mostly from coal so the emissions from generating the charging electricity are close to petrol-powered cars.

Finally, the resale value of EVs is shocking. For E.g. A Nissan leaf that is bought for about $60 000 is worth less than $15 000 five or so years later.

Morrison has the duty to be seen to please the silly ones too !

Why are the Forums Old Fossils banging on about the use of fossil fuels? Being British to the boot straps, and seeing the mother country is in such dire circumstance, nothing to warm their cup of 'Bovril' on a cold and frosty summers day. I suggest the lads depart on the first available fossil fuel carrier bound for the Old Dart where they can do their bit for King and Country and become fossils for fuel! You never know they might even provide enough heat to warm a pork pie or two for the Lads at the Glasgow bash!

I don't see a problem with fuel for Glasgow, with ScumO' tagging along, just tie his lips to the exhaust pipe of Bug Ridden Boris and Sleepy Joe's Goggomobil, there's enough hot air in Scotty to power the thing into next week.
