Given that the virus took one women under 50 in 18 months, statistically it would have taken around 0.1 in the time since the vaccine was available to that age group. That round down to zero lives saved. So three deaths, no lives saved.

I feel so sorry for NSW. Having grown up in
the western suburbs of Sydney - I feel for the
people and what they're currently going through.
Things appear to be getting worse instead of
better. Surely the federal government could
decide to do more - by making vaccines more
accessible to everyone. Lockdowns appear to be a
case of doing too little too late. They don't
appear to be working in the case of NSW.

Vaccination seems to be the way to go. It is
time that the federal government stepped in and
made more vaccines available for NSW otherwise
things are not going to improve.

The response we have seen is just what happens when a public health issue is addressed from a political point of view.

Instead of using the last 18months making preparations for testing centres, quarantine facilities and distribution they've been dodging responsibility and making things up as they go along with the Federal Government getting the States to do the heavy lifting and take the heat.
The way the media personally attacked Andrews is vastly different from the kid-glove treatment of Berejiklian but the public mood is shifting.
