In NSW the LNP government led by Gladys Berejiklian procrastinated for nine days and waited for dozens of community cases before announcing a general lockdown for Sydney in an attempt to control the extremely contagious Delta virus. By the time the lockdown was announced the horse had bolted, today in NSW there are thousands of cases and 21 dead, yesterday NSW reported 262 new cases and 5 deaths. There is no sign that the government has any idea of how to bring the virus under control. In contrast sudden outbreaks in Victoria and Queensland brought sharp responses from the Labor governments of Dan Andrews and Annastacia Palaszczuk with quick lockdowns and hopefully quick control and lives saved. Another outbreak in Victoria today will see Dan Andrews impose yet another quick lockdown from 8pm tonight, in an attempt to save lives.

NSW had it opportunity to go hard and fast against the Delta virus, like the other two states, but for reasons best known to themselves the conservatives chose to go soft, and the horrifying results are there for all to see. On day eight Morrison the master of the vaccine stuff up was congratulating Berejiklian for not imposing a general lockdown across Sydney, a day later she had no choice. I suspect Berejiklian was pandering to her constituency and mistakenly putting business profits before people.

Gee that was quick Graham, only threw it in 5 minutes ago, wish all conservatives were that fast, including Gladys. I'm pretty good at sticking Vicks up the nose to control the Cold virus, but Delta virus is a bit more difficult.

You haven’t noted all the deaths from the vaccine.
Bower has posted about this and he has me worried, well over 1,000 people have been vaccinated in the Inverell district and none have yet died; I guess we’re just lucky.

Now a god to some Forumites, Fat Clive Palmer sent me an URGENT COMMUNICATION recently with the starling revelation that 210 poor Aussies had died after receiving Covid-19 vaccine. Indeed it was true, some died from heart attacks, road accidents, falling out of trees and a host of other misadventures. What Fat Clive failed to reveal was that only 2 died directly from the AZ vaccine.

I've had a good look at Big Clive, and he doesn't need to worry about a jab of Covid vaxx, but sure looks like he's badly in need of a heart attack vaccination asap! A ticking time bomb if I've ever seen one.

These are the facts:

“About 6.8 million doses of AstraZeneca have now been administered across the country, with seven deaths linked to the vaccine. Six of those deaths were linked to TTS, while the other was a case of immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), which is when your immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys platelets.”

So the chances of death is about 1 in a million.

“The medical regulator said in Australia, severe cases of TTS appeared to be more common in women, especially those in younger age groups ... five of the six TTS deaths occurred in women.”

So of the 3 million doses given to men there was only one death as a result.

The ages were as follows:

Four of the 5 deaths occurred in women aged 34, 48 (2 cases), 52 and 72-years-old. The other death was in a 44-year-old man.

On today's deaths “Four of the five people who died were not vaccinated, while one person had received one dose of AstraZeneca.”

Why is this even a question for you?

Unless you are a stubborn old fool like Hasbeen and want to stand on an ideological coffin go get vaccinated mate. The figures are insanely compelling.
