Thanks Issy

This Mehreen Saeed Faruqi Green activist has form. She apparently has no "First Nations" (aka Aboriginal racial aristocratic) blood. Instead Pakistani Muslim blood.

She and her husband Omar apparently moved from Pakistan to Sydney in 1992. She then apparently made the following Affirmation of Allegiance to become an Australian citizen:

"I solemnly and sincerely promise and declare that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty Elizabeth the Second, Queen of Australia, Her heirs and successors...".

Here she is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mehreen_Faruqi and see

"In February 2018, Faruqi attempted to block the Christian Friends of Israeli Communities from hosting an event on the basis of Israel's settlement policy in the West Bank[8]"

So not only has this Green activist rejected the spirit of her Affirmation of Allegiance to the Queen to become an Australian citizen but she may have something against Christians and Jews as well...

Is extradition back to Pakistan in order?

Pete,

"Is extradition back to Pakistan in order?"

Not likely that they'd want her.

Mehreen is an elected member of the Australian Senate, one of our best representatives. She would not be the first person to label Philip Mountbatten a racists. The fact he struck out at 99 is what it is. The media want to portray old Phil as a saint, a cross between Albert Schweitzer and Mother Teresa, some even liken the old bloke to a second Jesus. They might just be getting a little carried away with themselves and the occasion.

Hi Paul

I take it your simplistic comment about the MEDIA portraying Phil as a "saint" is implicit agreement with Faruqi's offensive Tweet.

Prince Philip (born 1921) came from a generation which included Churchill (died 1965) (so a 44 year overlap) who didn't share our views about race.

In THIS thread I laughed at Phil's jokes because they were funny. I don't consider myself a racist.

Although, from what this Green activist Faruqi said of Prince Philip:

"... I'm not going to pay tribute to a known racist."

I don't think Faruqi should have been allowed to become an Australian citizen.

After all:

Faruqi apparently made the following Affirmation of Allegiance to the Monarchy to become an Australian citizen:

"I solemnly and sincerely promise and declare that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty Elizabeth the Second, Queen of Australia, Her heirs and successors...".

Faruqi and Green-Left-Muslim activists like her should show some respect while Phil's body is still warm.

Mehreen, the latest fruitbat in the sociopathic green menagerie is the latest extreme left whinger to call Philip a racist without any evidence. This is because the definition of racist for these halfwits is anyone that is not a member of the greens. That he is old white and male means that he is probably homophobic, transphobic and a zionist to boot.

Nah Pete, not particularly concerned about what Mr Mountbatten had to say. He was wandering around Europe virtually penniless and stateless but good fortune came his way, and it paid off, the rest is history, good luck to the old bloke.

What does concern me is the notion that those born in other lands and whom become through a free choice Australian citizens, are placed on some kind of permeant probation list. If they fail to watch their P's and Q's, The Committee for Pure Though will find them guilty of Un-Australianism, which extends to having opinions on the British Royal Family, and the consequences can be most severe.
