As for having crushes on British royalty? I think Princess Anne is great! And I admire \her. Posted by Foxy, Thursday, 22 April 2021 8:32:09 AM

Thanks Foxy
For being understanding of my plight. LOOKS COUNT! Anne (the most under-rated, hardest working Royal, short of Liz) has heaps of character and stamina, like the cross-country horses she rode, but horse features unfortunately don't stp there, with Anne. Anne's married to Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence who is superbly qualified to upgrade his current quasi-Royal cause-load to full Royalship. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timothy_Laurence#Later_career If Laurence were made a Royal Duke he could lighten the crushing strain of Royal duties that Will (without Harry's or unwanted Andrew's help) is already facing. My main lunch buddy (a lass) has a crush on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Neill. Being not fully hitched since 2010 is mainly mine fault. I've been happily married twice, but whenever I'm hitched I'm not satisfied after 4 years. I'll always look, but not touch, where the grass is greener. On a conceited level (for a sec) there is no lady available with the intellect and broad knowledge of ideologies and foreign issues, right for me. Those with a such a broad knowledge have always come in a LEFTWING PACKAGE (but one). LEFTWINGER LADIES do not exactly like my world view, born of first job and reading career (see my "Favorite Books" here http://draft.blogger.com/profile/02624742078679760819 ) which could be most easily characterized as "CIA". Hence I have a boots on the ground perspective of http://forum.onlineopinion.com.au/thread.asp?article=21405#377517 There's been only one Australian lass who ticked all my boxes, but she was happily married to someone else. An American (former US Homeland Security (with direct access to her senior boss who was a former DDI CIA. She kept him advised she was "seeing me.")) also ticked most boxes but she was about half my age. So there you have it. I'm one day, moving from my small WASP town to somewhere more north (Qld) and larger - where there's a much more international mob, change of scenery and new prospects. Hi Pete,
Wow - Sam Neil? I'd forgotten all about him. Yes, Yes, Yes! I actually have some crushes on this forum of people. Banjo Paterson comes to mind and of course Steele Redux - I adore. Then there's David F., ( never disappoints), and of course Paul. And you rather intrigue me as well. On the conservative side ? I love O Sung Wu, and Hassie. Their backgrounds are interesting. And I should not leave out Shadow minister either. And there's also many more - but I'd better quit in case I leave somebody out. The forum has its challenges - but it's fun! As for politics? Well we all change on issues - so actually pin pointing someone down is not easy as I'm learning. Posted by Foxy, Thursday, 22 April 2021 11:51:44 AM

A Queen Anne would be preferable to a King Charles any day. It's unfortunate that the system doesn't allow the Monarch to will the job to whomever he or she chooses. It is said by people who might or might not know what they are talking about that Andrew is the Queen's favourite; even he would be preferable to Charles, but Anne seems to be a no-nonsense cross between her mother and mother, and the best of the lot of them.

I so admire Princess Anne. Her no nonsense attitude.
I believe she has a wicked sense of humour. And her high sense of duty. Posted by Foxy, Thursday, 22 April 2021 1:26:58 PM

Yes, I also read that Prince Philip got the type of
funeral he wanted. To me everything seemed just perfect.
I'm sure he would have been pleased. As for your crush
on Kate? I'm sure that you shall find someone who
deserves you. Crushes come and go. I used to have
a crush on the British actor Christopher Plummer,
but today it's - Colin Firth, especially after
seeing him as Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice. Still today
both are rather special to me.
So cheer up - you never know what the future holds.
