Hi Foxy
Yes a moving funeral. The weather was perfect for normally overcast Britain. Good that Harry and William are now on speaking terms. You're right about Philip's burial details. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-04-17/prince-philip-where-will-he-be-buried/100073020 indicates: "After the funeral service...Prince Philip was laid to rest in the Royal Vault at St George’s Chapel...However, it's only a temporary location for Philip...When the Queen dies, she will also be buried in the King George VI Memorial Chapel and her husband will be moved beside her. ...The Chapel was built after the death of the Queen's father, King George VI. He was its only tomb until the death of his wife, the Queen Mother, in 2002. But when she was interred with her husband, she didn't arrive alone." PRINCE HARRY SPOKE PRIVATELY WITH WILLIAM AND CHARLIE FOR HOURS AFTER FUNERAL
PARAPHRASING the UK Observer 19th April http://observer.com/2021/04/prince-harry-prince-william-reunion-private-talks-conversation-prince-charles/ Harry, William and Charles had a private conversation for two hours...at Windsor Castle after the service. The family rift isn’t exactly healed just yet... Charles is reportedly “‘desperate’ for a reconciliation with Harry but William is “more cautious and hesitant.” William was reportedly fuming after Harry and MegZIT's Oprah interview, and grew even angrier after Harry told [Oprah's young clone, Gayle King http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gayle_King ] about their subsequent private conversation. William “needs to know he can trust Harry and that private conversations will stay private,”. While the brothers haven’t forgiven each other just yet, it’s definitely a sign that they could heal their rift in the future. They’ll also be seeing a bit more of each other in the coming months, as while Harry is expected to return to Hollywood to see MegXIT and Archie ASAP. Harry is likely traveling back to the UK around June to reunite with William for the unveiling of the statue in Princess Diana’s honor at Kensington Palace. Hi Pete,
So good to hear that the rift between Harry and William has the possibility of being mended. They're brothers and have always been close. It would be a shame for that to change. My hope is that by some miracle Meghan will see the light of day - and do the right thing by her husband. Prince Harry needs to be part of the Royal family once again. It was a mistake for him to move to Los Angeles. Harry belongs in Britain with his Royal family. Meghan knew who she was marrying and needs to do the right thing by her husband. Hi Foxy
I'm not counting on Meghan foregoing her recently signed, high paying, media contracts that tie her to LA. Harry will stay with her, Archie and baby on the way in LA, I think. ______________ Meanwhile more news http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/prince-harry-charles-william-kate-20422307 20th April: Harry, Charles, William and Kate hold 'clear the air' talks at Frogmore Cottage after the funeral. "An insider told the Sun : “Harry obviously felt outnumbered as there are three of them and only one of him so wanted it to be on his home turf. “There is no way this is the end of the crisis in their relationships but it’s a good gesture and a nice way to take the first step towards healing. “William, Kate and Charles all left after about two hours, which was long enough for the process of getting father and brothers talking again to start.”" Posted by plantagenet, Tuesday, 20 April 2021 8:47:29 PM

Hi Foxy
As an ex-Darling of some "Agency" I do my research. Being an Absolute Monarchist, unless Charlie and Camy get the nod, in which case I'm an Aus republican - I anticipated Phil's passing by obtaining a copy of: Christopher Andersen's "Game of Crowns" (2016, Gallery Books) http://www.amazon.com.au/Alderac-Game-Crowns-Board-Games/dp/1476743967 from my NSA buddy :) Said book, page 12, refutes any media revelation that Phil only wanted a no-frills send-off due to Covid. Phil was always intending (known 2016) what we saw at Windsor, Saturday night, ie: "Prince Philip, whose funeral plans were code-named "Forth Bridge" after the span over the Firth of Forth in Scotland, wanted only a private military-style service at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle." Which is precisely what Phil got. Other Royals, like Charlie and Liz, want far more flamboyant affairs (I can tell you precisely what, if you're interested?). But which would be Phil-mini-mized if Covid continues before Dear Liz croaks. Charlie, 72, is liable to follow Liz into kingship in about 4 years time, if not sooner if Liz abdicates, (Liz good for 4 years) = 2025 + 20 years, till Charlie's 96 = 2045 if the longevity of Phil & Liz is anything to go by. So William, the most popular kingly possibility, might need to hang around till 2045 to take over (Will 38 now + 24 years will be a "young" King of 62) and good for another 34 years till he's 96 = 2069. Meanwhile, the object of my crush, Dearest Kate, is actually a year older than Will - so she'll be 97 in 2069, but still lovely http://cdn.onebauer.media/one/media/5f7d/b9ee/1916/3007/96fd/0ec2/Kate-Middleton-Hair-Evolution.jpg?format=jpg&quality=80&width=1400&ratio=16-9&resize=aspectfill I'll be long gone, 60 now + 26 years = 2047 RIP. Pete did you know that although Prince Philip was
placed in the vault in St. George's Chapel this
will not be his final resting place?
Apparently when the Queen dies, Prince Philip will be moved
to the George VI's Memorial Chapel (which is a part of
St. George's Chapel in Windsor) but it's where the Queen
will be interred. Prince Philip will rest with her. It's
where her father George VI and the Queen Mother are buried
and the Queen's sister - Margaret's ashes lie.
