In view of the monomaniacal behaviour of “Captain Ahab” (alias “Donald the dictator”), there is serious doubt regarding his ability to correctly fulfill his duties as president of the United States until “Sleepy old Joe” officially becomes president on 20 January 2021.

While that is only 13 days away, the recent insurrection on Capitol Hill by “Captain Ahab’s” supporters cannot be ignored. Effective measures must be implemented as soon as possible to ensure that there are no further attacks or attempted coups.

One of “Captain Ahab’s” few remaining close advisers is reported to have said “off the record” during the insurrection last night that the outgoing president was “out of his mind”.

As a result, a group of “Republican leaders” have declared that “he should be removed from office before January 20. Four of them called for the 25th Amendment to be invoked, and two others said the President should be impeached” :

These are grave times for the United States and for the whole world. The Republicans must weigh up the consequences of either forcefully removing “Captain Ahab” from office or leaving him free to pursue his monomaniacal vendetta, unhindered, with the world's most powerful nation at his entire disposal.

While Trump has clearly lost the election and I don't support the actions he has taken to delegitimize the election and election process, I believe that the media has once again over-egged the cake on this "mostly peaceful" demonstration. Compared to the democrat supported BLM riots this demonstration showed far less violence, looting and destruction. That a few demonstrators broke through the police cordon to disrupt the senate is a tactic frequently used by the left to disrupt campuses, political speeches etc, and when other follow suit, it suddenly becomes a coup attempt. Seriously!

While I don't believe that there was widespread voting fraud, certainly not enough to sway the election, the democrats added fuel to the fire by posting out postal ballots to every man and his dog.

Trump, in doing what he has done has essentially poisoned the well for the democrat led government and has created a cult-like following that he can cultivate for his own purposes later. This is not the end of Trump on the political stage.

Claims of it, "He (Trump) didn't cause the riot", is as untrue as to say Hitler didn't cause WWII. It was Trump who called his goons to Washington, it was Trump who called his goons to rally at the Capitol Building whilst the vote was taking place, it was Trumps goons that invaded the building!
