Can we all agree to make reference to 'Trump's Insurrection' so that we are all focusing on the same thing?

Plantagenet said-
"I RECKON EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH http://www.msnbc.com/all-in/watch/chris-99178053752 before they comment again, including GrahamY." Answer- I watched the video. The reporter in the video perhaps was trying to copy Fox- Tucker Carlson's style- lefties must think his style is effective. I can't see that President Trump encouraged people to be violent- he told them to turn up- maybe I need to watch it again. There are obviously many people that are very concerned with the direction that the US is heading. President Trump for them is the only one who can turn it around. In history traitors were hanged and they believe that Vice President Pence is a traitor- I don't think that the people wanted to actually hang Pence- but they were very angry- and these things can get out of control- I don't understand why Pence decided not to support Trump whether it was for personal reasons or otherwise whether Trump is viewing his authority in a different way to Pence. I suppose that many things are "out of control" at the moment in the US- this is just one of them. The BLM protests were allowed to go on for months- in multiple cities- this was one day in one city. I'm not sure how many people died how many shops were destroyed because of the BLM protests. There is an author Frank Kitson that talks of the stages of Communist Insurgency- what is happening in the US since 2016 sounds very much like it Posted by Canem Malum, Sunday, 10 January 2021 9:31:27 AM

From the Sun-
Trump made repeated calls for Pence to block the vote that would certify Joe Biden's election victory. During his speech at the "Save America March" on Wednesday, Trump urged Pence to "do the right thing." Trump said: "Mike Pence has to agree to send it back." As Trump spoke, Pence released a statement, stating he would not block Congress from Certifying Biden as the president-elect and did not have the authority to do so. "It is my considered judgment that my oath to support and defend the Constitution constrains me from claiming unilateral authority to determine which electoral votes should be counted and which should not," Pence said. He added: "When the Join Session of Congress convenes today, I will do my duty to seeto it that we open the certificates of the Electors of the several states, we hear objections raised by Senators and Representatives and, and we count the votes of the Electoral College for President and Vice President in a manner consistent with our Constitution, laws, and history." Canem Malum,
I think what Trump's Insurrection has now shown everybody is that Trump has no concept of right and wrong, morality and immorality, or civil obedience and civil disobedience. I think he got it off his old grand pappy Frederick who built the best little whore house in the Yukon. Posted by Mr Opinion, Sunday, 10 January 2021 9:45:55 AM

To Mr Opinion- In the past you've shown yourself to be reasonably rational- in a sense- so in this case I'll bow to your superior knowledge- until I have reason to believe otherwise- but I still like Trump.

That, folks, is SR’s way of admitting error (or worse). A better man would have….well we are talking about SR so how can expect better.
SR then includes me in some made-up list of those who opposed Murdoch Royal Commission. Since I didn’t post at all on that thread, clearly this is just another of the fantasies SR contrives.
A better man would now….well we are talking about SR so how can expect better.
SR asks “So why are you spending so much effort in trying to distract a thread which is about “Trump Caused Riot: Capitol Building”?”
The so-called riot was a result of the myriad provocations from the left media, left big tech and globalist elites. Trump and the deplorables have had an election win and a chance to re-make the US in ways to make their lives tolerable ripped from their grasp by a combination of monumental electoral fraud and outright media lies and censorship.
As such, the so-called riots are entirely understandable in the same way the left spent a year believing the Antifa riots were justified. (Riots I’d point out SR fully excused).
It is claimed the riots were an attack on democracy. But they weren’t, because democracy had already been subverted. The left have seized power over the heads of the people and (some of) the people won’t take it. Recent polls have a majority of Republicans and a plurality of Democrats believing that a civil war is more likely than not, that a plurality of all USians think Trump won the election, and that Trump’s approval rating has increased since the so-called riots. Ponder that.
I’m not offering a distraction. I’m explaining the background behind the uprising.
