Shadow Minister,

“retarded Greta”

Oh my poor chap, are you really that much on the back foot that you had to resort to that?

You really are a small man aren't you.

Oh well, I'm not that high brow that we can't continue to have some fun.

“which is a significant win for anyone except a demented remoaner”

So all those fishermen represented by your experts the National Federation of Fishermen's Organisations are remoaners? Is that really what you are saying here? How absolutely bonkers. These guys were waiting for Brexit to deliver the promises Boris had made for their future livelihoods. How on earth can you contend they were “remoaners”? They were plainly anything but. Such a stupid comment.

As to this: “you have assiduously avoided addressing the massive gains in the other 5 areas that I first brought up, as it clearly demolishing your argument making you look like a massive twat”. Well no I haven't, I directly quoted from a top independent analyst with his appraisal of the rest and it really wasn't pretty. Was there something specific you wanted to discuss, something you think your buffoon Boris has done particularly well at?

SteeleRedux,

To understand the shadyminister you need to take into account that the shadyminister is an engineer trying not to be an engineer.

SR,

Considering that you once again started slinging abuse, you don't hold the moral high ground.

You clearly haven't considered why the EU caved so comprehensively. A basic analysis of the trade between the EU and the UK shows:

-In 2019, UK exports to the EU were £294 billion (43% of all UK exports). UK imports from the EU were £374 billion (52% of all UK imports).
-That the UK had an overall trade deficit of -£79 billion with the EU in 2019. A surplus of £18 billion on trade in services was outweighed by a deficit of -£97 billion on trade in goods.

On top of this most of the imports from the EU are both politically sensitive ie cars, food, etc and easily replaced by imports from the US, Canada, Aus, NZ etc whereas the major export from the UK to the EU is petroleum products which are easily traded elsewhere. In short, there is nothing to stop the EU putting up regulatory trade barriers except that retaliation from the UK would hurt them far more in politically sensitive areas.

So the half-truths that you quote from your cherry-picked "expert" are just that.

The UK fishermen haven't got everything they wanted, but they got a lot more than the EU wanted to give them, and they will get it all in 5.5 years.

What are the chances of their still being an EU in anything but name in 10 years time?

None & Buckleys I would say.

Hasbeen,

Is that the current fascist perspective, mein Fuhrer?

Back to the good old days you reckon: Lots of disparate nationalist groups waging war on each other across Europe?

The aftermath of the Great War still being played out in newer killing fields?

And will the winds of war sweep once again through Asia as the US and its allies keep interfering in the ongoing Chinese civil war with Taiwan becoming just another Vietnam?

Shadow Minister,

So you go after a teenage girl who isn't here to defend herself because you are feeling a little butt hurt about our exchange? I repeat you are a little man. My moral high ground is stratospheric compared to yours old cock.

So back to the fun stuff. You claim “You clearly haven't considered why the EU caved so comprehensively.”

What?

What on earth have they caved in to? The UK still has to abide by all EU regulations to export into Europe so UK exporters now have to comply with two sets of regulations and wear custom fees as well. This will obviously make less competitive.

Of course Britons will now get to eat lower quality foodstuff from places like China and their own producers as regulations on things like pesticide and other chemical use are going to be watered down considerably, but that has nothing to do with the EU.

I gave you a very prominent senior independent analyst who says your perspective on this is tripe. Yet you still haven't put up anyone of equal substance to counter him. Why is that do you think? If you think I am cherry picking then go pick one of your own.

Theresa May voiced her support for the deal but has pointed out that “It is no longer the case that UK service providers will have the automatic right of access to provide services across the EU – they will have to abide by the individual rules of a state.”

So they got a watered down deal on fishing which is 0.1% of their economy but didn't get one on services which is 80% of it.

What an utter train wreak.
