I think the US should go back to the polls, just to be on the safe side. Any claims of rigging the polls or election fraud or people taking advantage of the system, could at least be dealt with and thrown in the bin.

I can't see the US improving until the matter of any election questions are addressed and until a 'clean election' is held and any speculation is dealt with.

What do you think, considering the Australian Government, literally goes along with the US Government on so many issues?

No way!
This isn't like the 2000 election (or even the 2004 election) where the result was extremely close and counting errors are known to have been made. Biden won this one decisively! Trump is pursuing every legal challenge he can, as is his right, but they're all very likely to come to anything as his rhetoric seldom ventures anywhere near the truth, and this election was much better scrutinised than past ones.

The bottom line is that the USA has legal procedures that it follows. Going back to the polls "just to be on the safe side" would violate those laws.

Which is just as well, really, as doing so would result in an even bigger COVID outbreak.
Alos, where would it stop? Would every subsequent election have to be run twice if one candidate makes unsubstantiated allegations of fraud? And if the loser of the second ballot makes the same sort of allegations, would it have to be run a third time? Or a fourth? Fifth?

It's a ridiculous solution to a non issue.

Let's face it, as long as there's corruption, the more corrupt will never concede until they dispose of the less corrupt at the expense of the ordinary folk !
The Democrats have put that on display for all to see.

Nathan,

Not a bad idea. It happened once in SA when a Labor government was kicked out to teach them a lesson. I don't remember the reason for a second ballot, but the people who wanted teach the government changed their minds and Labor romped back in. I suspect something as well as corruption occurred in the US, and Trump would win a second time around.

I have remembered the reason for the second SA poll. The original one was too close to call. I believe that if there was another vote in the US, Trump would romp in; voters would by now have realised how they were conned and lied to by Facebook and the other Big Tech companies. Too late now of course. America is in for unpleasant four years due to their stupidity an and ingratitude.

Nathan,

What a brilliant idea, such a cunning plan !

And whoever loses can always demand another election ! Brilliant !

And whoever loses that one, can demand another election ! Brilliant !

And whoever loses THAT one, can demand yet another election ! Brilliant !

Ad infinitum.

Any other bright ideas ?

Joe
