Individual,

"Let's face it, as long as there's corruption, the more corrupt will never concede .... "

You got that right !

So: how to get Donny out of the White House .....

Of course, he can always flee overseas, maybe to Russia, or Turkey.

Then the work of cleaning out his fetid Swamp can begin .....

No evidence of fraud or corruption has been found.
Not this time, nor in the past. Trump's claims
have been proven baseless and just because the
man refuses to concede - the transition is going
ahead smoothly. What Trump continues to say is
irrelevant. He's been proven wrong. Biden is the
President-elect. He's won fair and square.
And Trump will be leaving the White
House in January 2021. Either on his own or will
be escorted out. His time is over! The people booted
him out. And if he can't admit that - it's his problem
no one else's. He's done enough damage to the country as
it is!

>I have remembered the reason for the second SA poll. The original one was too close to call.
How long ago was that?

>I believe that if there was another vote in the US, Trump would romp in; voters would by now
>have realised how they were conned and lied to by Facebook and the other Big Tech companies
Don't you think the voters would by now have realised how they were conned and lied to by Trump himself?

Ttbn,

Maybe you mean in the election in about 1962 or 1963 in which (from very faulty memory) the Playford LCL government may have come up short by a couple of seats - and a couple of country Independents (Stott ? Quirk ?) held the balance of power, and very selflessly, in exchange for ministerial positions, sacrificed their independence in order to save his government.

Labor won the election in 1965 but Playford, I recall, was always very popular, and remained a friend of Labor leader, Don Dunstan's. I remember going up to a dance on Yorke Peninsula with Dunstan, lovely bloke, in June of that year, with my future wife ;) Happy days !

Nathan,

I should imagine that the cost of running a presidential election in the US would be in the region of a billion dollars. And what you might get is this:

http://www.sbs.com.au/news/joe-biden-has-increased-his-vote-numbers-following-a-recount-demanded-by-donald-trump

If Trump is willing to pay upfront out of his own funds (provided they exist), then let him go for it.

Joe,

I think it was when Des Corcoran was premier. I think it was him who was being taught a lesson. I was still a deluded Labor voter those days, and lived in the electorate he took over from his father, Jas Corcoran. Des retired from the military to stand for the seat. Now there was a good bloke. The 'talent' has slipped since then.
