Hi Ttbn,

Hmmmmm. ........ there seem to be many on OLO who think that this election is certainly not over, that in fact (as this thread is titled), it should be re-run - and then re-run again until the proponents get their way.

So when did you start thinking that this election was over ?

It is, by the way :)

loudmouth2, the election that you in your mind is over and Biden is your President. However many States are not represented by Biden and Harris and their alignment with Iran and China. Their policies do not reflect the freedoms of the American Way. There is a possibility of States voting to form a separate Nation. I've listened to those forming the proposed Bill, it is a possibility.

Josephus,

Isn't lumacy fun ?!

Yes, I think that Biden is the president -elect. Yes, I think the election is well and truly over.

The empty threat by a few hicks to get Texas or some other state to secede is hilarious. It may well be the last gasp of the Fat Boys or some bunch of hermits in their underground bunkers with their two years' supply of toilet paper (pity about that faulty valve on the septic tank), to imagine that everybody is going to rise up and break away with their own economy.

As for Texas breaking away to form the Davey Crockett State, I wonder if Mexico thinks it might be worth-while trying to take it back. From rough memory, the vote in Texas was something like 53: 46 in Trump's favour. I think Biden might have got a majority of women's votes, so if Davey Crockett tries it on, Lysistrata may have something to say about it. "Is that a spear I see under your cloak ?"

Sorry for mixing metaphors :( It's all such a hilarious show these days.

Crikey Jose-Babe

Where you say those Republican States (who didn't vote Biden/Harris) are aligned "with Iran and China"

this has really got me worried, muchacho!

You can thank your lucky stars your state of Arizona remains bravely Democratic Socialist:

See "8th Lawsuit Fails to Overturn Presidential Voting in Arizona"
Dec 15, at http://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/arizona/articles/2020-12-15/8th-suit-over-presidential-election-results-in-arizona-fails

"A judge dismissed another lawsuit that sought to decertify Democratic President-elect Joe Biden’s win in Arizona, marking the eighth failed case that challenged the election results in the state."

I'za worried about y'all Arizonan Chinese I-ran commies!

First, no incumbent who has received 75 percent of the total primary vote has lost re-election. Second, President Trump received 94 percent of the primary vote, which is the fourth highest of all time (higher than Dwight Eisenhower, Nixon, Clinton, or Obama). In fact, Trump is only one of five incumbents since 1912 to receive more than 90 percent of the primary vote.

Third, Trump set a record for most primary votes received by an incumbent when more than 18 million people turned out for him in 2020 (the previous record, held by Bill Clinton, was half that number). For Biden to prevail in the general election, despite Trump’s historic support in the primaries, turns a century’s worth of prior election data on its head.

Obama - received 69,000,000 from 873 Counties
Biden - received 81,000,000 from 477 Counties
Trump - received 74,000,000 from 2,497 Counties.

Trump is more represented throughout America by the number of Counties
Biden gained his votes from Metropolitain high turnout

Josephus,

Biden got more votes than Trump.

So what's your point ? That winning a bigger number of piss-ant counties should count more than winning votes ?

At that rate, Betoota would count on the same level as Mt Druitt or Sunshine ?
