No worries Foxy
Here's hoping no extremist Trumpster nutter has a go at Biden, or causes other mayhem. Trump can cause considerable damage until he is actually out of office at noon 20th January. Hopefully Trump's minders will disregard and combat Trump's wildest excesses during the "lame-duck" period. America indeed has a bright future at the end of the tunnel. That tunnel includes the end of Trump boosted COVID. Posted by plantagenet, Sunday, 8 November 2020 5:51:40 PM

Other than declaring WWIII at 11.59am 2oth January 2021, Trump doesn't want to rock the boat at all. Where are the Proud Boys? Standing by and standing ready.

Paul1405,
I imagine Trump will do something unconventional and irrational prior to the inauguration of Biden. Fortunately the American political system has all the safeties of checks and balances built into it to safeguard the people from a lunatic clown running amok and causing mayhem. No one has said it so far so I might as well jump in an claim my place in the history books by being the first to say: "TRUMP ........... YOU'RE FIRED" Remember, you heard it here first. This is interesting...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_spectrum "A political spectrum is a system to characterize and classify different political positions in relation to one another. These positions sit upon one or more geometric axes that represent independent political dimensions.[1] The expressions political compass and political map are used to refer to the political spectrum as well, especially to popular two-dimensional models of it.[2][3][4][5] Most long-standing spectra include the left–right dimension which originally referred to seating arrangements in the French parliament after the Revolution (1789–1799), with radicals on the left and aristocrats on the right.[1][6] While communism and socialism are usually regarded internationally as being on the left, conservatism and fascism are regarded internationally as being on the right.[1] Liberalism can mean different things in different contexts, being sometimes on the left (social liberalism) and other times on the right (conservative liberalism)." Paul,
I did very nicely with the betting, if Trump had won I would have won and more than covered my bets that Biden would win and as Biden won then my small outlay on Trump was more than covered also. The fluctuating odds were a gambler's paradise and the secret is to hedge one's bets and never let emotion get in the way of an 'honest' dollar. Posted by Is Mise, Monday, 9 November 2020 8:49:40 AM

You may be spot-on: it's very worrying that Biden can't exercise any presidential powers until he is sworn in, on January 20th.
Trump will sulk until then and avoid doing anything, mostly out of spite, but also because he hasn't a clue what to do about the virus, OR about what China might do in relation to Taiwan and its illegal occupation of reefs and shoals in the South Seas.
Very dangerous times.
Joe
