What wonderful news.
Not only for America - but for the world. PRESIDENT BIDEN! Democracy has been saved. The people of America have voted. And every vote counts. There's been a massive relief from the traditional allies of the United States. A feeling that perhaps things may return to how they were 4 years ago in terms of traditional alliances. Trump's leadership was the worst period in relations between Europe and the United States since the world war. And if Trump refuses to concede. I'm sure that there are ways to escort the trespasser out of the White House. Posted by Foxy, Sunday, 8 November 2020 12:12:37 PM

Foxy,
And the really good news is that Mr Opinion won money with his bets on Biden. Posted by Mr Opinion, Sunday, 8 November 2020 12:14:20 PM

Its been a typical 2020 year for Donald J Trump. First he caught the virus, then he lost his job, now he's being evicted from his house.

Mr O,
Congratulations to you as well. Well done. Hi Paul, It's lovely to see that character does count in the US. That truth does matter after all. And that fraudsters don't always come out on top. Posted by Foxy, Sunday, 8 November 2020 12:23:56 PM

Dear Everyone
Its heartening that the title of this thread, "Trump Tipped To Win Election", proved wrong. Remaining Trumpsters are spreading disinformation on Biden's foreign policy, particularly on China. http://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2020-54472696 indicates 4 hours ago: "...HOW WILL BIDEN CHANGE FOREIGN POLICY?" "...DEALING WITH ALLIES President Trump has praised autocrats and insulted allies. At the top of Joe Biden's to-do list is a full-court press to repair strained relationships, especially in Nato, and rejoin global alliances. A Biden administration would also return to the World Health Organization and seek to lead an international coronavirus response. CHINA "In 2017, Mr Trump described how he and Xi Jinping bonded over chocolate cake. But since then MR Trump has traded his friendship with the Chinese president for accusations about spreading the coronavirus, for harsh measures and a new Cold War rhetoric. In fact there is rare cross-party agreement on getting tough with China over trade and other issues. The question is about tactics. Mr Biden would continue President Trump's policy of countering China's "abusive economic practices," but jointly with allies, as opposed to Trump's preference for unilateral trade deals." PLANTA COMMENT Biden's traditional alliance approach will be better for AUSTRALIA than Trump's "America First" approach. Posted by plantagenet, Sunday, 8 November 2020 12:54:52 PM
