I am more worried about what a Labor govt would do given some of the comments this week.

If you are concerned about China, which I am, I would strongly suggest that the Coalition is the best option.

I think Biden's first priority will be the suppression of the coronavirus in the US.

Image the ramifications for the rest of the world if the US goes into lockdown and is absent from the international scene for a couple of months.

I think the Chinese already see Australia as a vassal state of China, both in China and Australia.

In the last few weeks China has demonstrated to the world that it controls the major part of Australia's exports.

Local Chinese in Australia are a major political force in government even to the extent of having been able to get a former(?) affiliate of the CCP Gladys Liu into the national parliament where decisions are made on international policy.

For how long has Mr Opinion been warning you people about the Chinese threat?

If America locks down and withdraws for a couple of months then I think the time will be ripe for China to take control of Taiwan.

Now that Trump's chief of staff has caught the virus, maybe Trump himself might be infected - not just with a panic attack like before but a truly-ruly infection. That might have him being raced to the ICU at Johns Hopkins, and out of the White House.

Ttbn- I am as concerned as you are. Now is the time to look at our options. To continue with presenting the alternative view. Sometimes it's better to say nothing than to react to provocation. Some have said- what you say should be better than the silence- and the silence is golden.

The Communists and Locke Liberals are very well organised. Even if we lost this round we fought for what we believed and so we were true to ourselves in our hearts. There have been some great heroes in this battle- we can give respect to them quietly in our hearts- and celebrate them each year- they serve as examples to us- when and why and how- we fight.

One can lose a just cause.

It looks bleak- it looks like we are in for yet another round of cultural austerity policies- perhaps this is the end of the world. Maybe in one thousand years the British people of the world will get our home back- if we survive. The world will continue to overpopulate, over pollute, create ignobility- because they invest in universalism, globalism, liberalism, profligatism.
