This time around the debate was more or less even and sensible. With the use of a mute button Trump was unable to launch into his usual tirade of abuse as he regularly does against Biden. I'd say the Trump demeanour shown might swing him a few as yet undecided voters.

I didn't ask for a mea culpa from you...I pointed out we wouldn't get one. A mea cupla is an acknowledgement of error and an implied promise to do better. Asking that of you would be like asking a lioness to go vegan.

But I didn't go to "all that trouble to chase it down". When I read your post it rang a bell since I'd only recently read extracts from the article in a piece about how unethical it was for analysts to break the Goldstein rule by pronouncing on people they hadn't personally examined ie the Atlantic article you plagiarised was unethical.

So Foxy unethically plagiarises an unethical article. The quintessential Foxy post.

Foxy, we both know you do this all the time. I only call you out maybe 10% of the time. But whenever we see one of Foxy's longer posts attempting to make erudite observations, you can pretty much take it to the bank that 1 or 2 (or 3 or 4) paragraphs are direct copy-pastes.
