Adolf, Trump to some, praises attack on reporter then lashes out at refugees on the march with threats to countries that do not stop them.
Threatens to put the military on the Mexican border.

"The 2019 budget is for an increase to $984 billion bringing his budget increases to $319 billion dollars, well in excess of Obama's."

Should read;

"The 2019 budget is for an increase to $984 billion bringing his deficit increases to $319 billion dollars, well in excess of Obama's."

Personally he has $3.1 billion which could cover his promise to the Indian. Even handing over $1 with a smile would show he's honourable.
( that should read 'honorable' but he isn't)

SR,

Wow this shows just how well the Trump economy is going, that you have to resort to this sort or bogus 'analysis' of bogus numbers to try to find something, ANYTHING, that might show the Obamessiah in a less unfavourable light as compared to Trump. Pretty pathetic really.

But let's just pretend your 'analysis' has ANY validity and examine the details.

1) First I'd note that none of your numbers (NONE), has been adjusted for inflation. Any and all comparisons against different periods have to be adjusted for inflation. Economic Statistics 101.

2) Next, you refer to the 2019 budget. But (and this might surprise you) the 2019 aren't inyet and this is an estimate made by the CBO whose estimates are notoriously iffy. Already we are seeing receipts rising above the expected level. So including 2019 in your 'analysis' (although calling it that is stretching the meaning of the word to ridiculous lengths) is entirely inappropriate.

3) The deficit for 2018 was not (as you laughingly think) $US833b but instead $US779b. Your figure was a earlier estimate. See how that works. Estimates are rarely correct (see 2 above). Now did you pick the higher number because it suited your purposes or are you just ignorant of the facts?

4) you've blatantly and invalidly cherry-picked you dates. You use 2009 as the start point for Obama to compare and by doing so have his first deficit as being 2010 less 2009. 2009 was a massive increase over 2008 but you've cherry-picked the start date to avoid attributing that increase to Obama. And that's utterly invalid. But if you include that increase (in whole or part) in the Obama column everything you say becomes utter bunkum - which of coarse it is.

Nevertheless apart from using unadjusted numbers, numbers that don't exist, numbers that are utterly wrong and blatantly leaving out contrary data, your 'analysis' is OK. Nah, I'm joshing with you - its rubbish.

BTW, I couldn't help but notice that you've run away from your idiotic Warren assertions. Good idea.

Foxy,

"I use the Times quite often as a source."

Well obviously less than 10 times per month. I almost always bump up against that limit. I've considered subscribing but the NYT is really a pretty hopeless source.

"I did not use it for the satirical list of Trump supporters."

Of coarse you didn't. There is no satirical list in either the NYT or the ATI so how could you.

Its been fun though. I suspect you've learned a lot.

mhaze,

You're so perceptive.

Your posts always manage to make me smile,
(and sometimes even laugh out loud).

This forum would not be as entertaining as it is,
without you in it.

Keep up the good work!
