ok in the end we need laws that say hurt these folk you pay, no but the offender is a victim six months locked up no way out of it, or me and you may not get help when we need it most

Just arm Ambulance officers with handguns/stunguns & direct them to leave the scene the moment they expeperience grief from some idiots. Take photos of the idots & let the vigillante groups do what Police are unable to.
If someone dies because of this the vigillantes could ensure that there's no repeat performance.

Love your thinking indy but we both know they are trained to help not kill, if we armed them we could end up with the American cop syndrome unarmed dead innocents all over the place, still firmly think we need to get our laws back on track six months in the slammer for any offender more if it is second offence, good news! bought a big smile to my face on way home radio news said the *three gutless thugs* who kicked those two footy fans, one in the head 16 times! have been charged sadly watch them walk free from court.

of course the Law needs updating. It's insane how so much effort goes into defending criminals & hardly a thought given to victims.
Are Judges & defence lawyers actually gettimg their rocks off in seeing a victim persecuted ? One could be forgiven to think that way by the evidence out there.
I mean heaping injustice upon injustice is in my book nothing short of insane. I wonder how many times these judges & defence lawyers have to go through a sanity appraisal ?

indy my thought here was that the law, yes it is rubbery, should fix this problem, by fixing it it is my view a term in prison, for every true offender would do that, personal freedom should not say you have the right to be an idiot or a thug, that you have no right drunk or sober to king hit anyone in their workplace
