Last night a 25 year old drug user died because other drug affected people would not let officers treat him, it is far from unusual, why do we constantly see such criminals walk away after this type of crime? new road rules in NSW are to regulate 40 klm speed limit, both directions, when red or yellow lights are flash in on the road, unless that road is divided, after police fire brigade and Ambo,s have been injured even killed while at work,

Dear Belly,

I've got nothing but respect for ambulance officers.
They've been exceptional in providing help when
needed. They're quite extra-ordinary people and I for
one am so grateful for the help they're provided to me
over the many years. Our family are fully paid up members
of the ambulance service here in Victoria. We have bnen
for many decades - and will continue to be hopefully for
many more.

They deserve our Thanks and our financial support!

I think this is something other than drug addicts Jelly. A statement from the paramedics said a group of about 80 angry men attacked them and they had to barricade themselves inside the unit. I don’t know the area but according to comments online, Ringwood has a large Muslim population.
That makes far more sense because I have never heard of Australians attacking paramedics in a mob and certainly not drug addicts, who are familiar with overdoses and generally welcome medical help.

Hey belly,
Can you add a link to the story please.

First thoughts.
- If you play stupid games you win stupid prizes...
On the other hand what if they were a victim of sorts themselves, maybe they came from a broken home, grew up in a dysfunctional family in a toxic neighbourhood in a high unemployment, high crime and high drug use area...
I wonder if they prevented the ambo's providing medical treatment due to wanting to avoid the associated bill?
- In which case was this death mandated, by politicians with ill-concieved social policies?
Further thoughts towards that line of thinking is that if these people aren't willing to pay for their own stupid choices, should the government, businesses and taxpayers foot the bill?
I think it should be easy enough to look at this issue and devise a better plan.

Druggies cause the death of a druggie. So what. No ambulance personnel were injured in the making of this pointless story. Drug addicts are no more 'criminals’ than drunks are. Cars passing emergency scenes? No relevance whatever to anything.

There have been two attacks on paramedics that I've seen in the news in the past week.

I don't get it. What possible motive could people have for attacking paramedics? Lock 'em up for our safety, they're clearly not right in the head.
