That is what has happened in persons of power in schools and children homes in the past. It is not going to get better merely because the children are taught about sex. The most frequent cases of sexual abuse happen in university where the knowledge of sex is best known even by medical students.

This so-called safe schools program is nothing but a filthy program of debauchery with the intent to shove down the throats of innocent children, poofterism, all manner of deviant sex and disgusting information that no child should ever hear until they are almost adults.

"Public" (government-sponsored) schools were never a safe place for children. One can only expect the sponsor, the state, to expect dividends in the form of brainwashing the poor children to love them, accept them, then uphold and support them when they grow up.

Now I don't know what other schools, if any, are safe and bullying is present practically everywhere. Your best bet if you want to prevent your children suffering, is to avoid bringing them into this present world, which is already way overcrowded and unfit for good education.

My point is that education alone especially by a person of power over a child who is not the parents is not sufficient to avoid bullying, or sexual abuse, eg university students.

Parents or guardians must be given the role of educating their child of responsibility for their body. Those that speak to children about sexual matters without the parents approval are breaking the trust of parents. Parents know best the individual child and their physical development.

For a teacher at School to be giving a child ideas they are not the gender they were born, is not the place to be discussing such matters.
