We left at Railway Square, had a big Island Day At Yarra Bay in the avo, fires (BBQ's) everywhere, about 1,000 people. Great display of island dancing by the teen's, safe swimming for the kids, plenty of open space to play volleyball and cricket. What do Aussie's do on Australia Day?
Only about 6-8 coppers in their mini bus all day. How Un-Australian is this, the council rangers turned up, and were going to book people for parking on the grass (the carpark's were chockers). The coppers and a couple of Island elders told them it wasn't a good idea. Very Australian of them.
