//we should be using this uniqueness to our advantage and not allow our cultures known to harbour violence into our country.//

South Koreans? Japanese? Mongolians?

There are lots of cultures in Asia, rechtib. It's a big continent. You're going to have specify which particular cultures rather lumping them all together as 'Asians'.

Turnbull says the political class doesn't welcome Hanson on the scene. This is because the Turnbull and the political class hate freedom of speech, and think that it is OK to ignore a massive section of the Australian population.

Ditto for Hansonophobes and freedemophobes chanting their slogans on OLO.

Suse,
You ask how runner, Josephus think about letting non-muslim ME people in as migrants and you claim to know how Pauline thinks. Well it is obvious you have never met Pauline because she has no problem with that at all as non-muslims, from the ME, have proved to be good immigrants, and I cite the NSW Governor as a shining example. Pauline employed Asian staff in her shop and ON has had election candidates of mixed heritage, including Lebanese, aboriginal and Asian. You see Suse the problem is with the muslim culture, not with race.

Foxy,
The article you quote from is by a lefty writer that worked for 'the Drum' a very biased ABC show. You said it was "more about how Pauline thinks" and yet he admits to having never met her so how would he know. It is all inaccurate rubbish. You should upgrade your reference reading.

Banjo " You see Suse the problem is with the muslim culture, not with race."

I am not basing my comments on what Pauline thinks, but rather on what I have personally heard her say. She has said "We are being swamped with Asians."
She never mentioned Muslim Asians, just Asians.

What are we supposed to think about that moronic racist statement, other than that she has a problem with 'Asians'? If she did employ Asians in her fish and chip shop, then I would imagine they wouldn't be happy with her statements now.
She should have stayed in the fish business....

"We are being swamped with Asians."

Well Suse, she never actually said that so your opinion is based, not on what she said, but on what you think she's say if she was the type of person you think she is.

What she actually said was " I believe we are in danger of being swamped by Asians." If you bother to check out the context of that sentence (delivered in her maiden speech) you'll find that her problem isn't with Asians per say but with the culture they bring with them and the fact (in her mind) that multiculturalism allows them to remain unassimilated and to dilute the national culture.

So not a racist. A culturalist perhaps.
