if you are really concerned about child molestation go to the Aboriginal communities and protest. Also protest against the porn industry that feeds such abhorrent acts. Otherwise if its just the Catholic church you hate come out and say it.

When convicted of pedophile behaviour or rape we should ask them which they would prefer - 25 years in jail or a simple operation after which the desire would vanish and they could be released.
Farmers routinely perform this operation to reduce the type of bahaviour encouraged by too much testosterone etc. on all their different types of livestock. We as humans are only the top of the animal chain, but there is absolutely no reason why we should not offer a (free) cure to sexual offenders. It is not inhumane if it is voluntary.
Quite apart from that I believe it would save the taxpayer, i.e. all of us, around $100,000 a year for each offender as well as changing the lives of what must really be very unhappy people

If you can't be bothered doing some research so that you don't post uninformed comments then don't expect others to do it for you.

One other thing that needs to be clarified is the notion that Catholic priests, other than those in Religious Orders, take a vow of celibacy; they do not.
