I does not surprise anyone that your dinner party friends agree with you. Progressives are “self referential”, one of their main characteristics. So why would they invite anyone round for dinner that might reference opinion outside their network?

Putting the “Neanderthal” tag on those with whom you disagree is simply recognition of the fact that you are indeed a progressive. Trying to reinforce your fear of opposing perspectives by passing them around your dinner table for endorsement is not something to be proud of.
