You set a hard task planet 3 but if we open up all can contribute interesting things.
So lets put out differences away and talk.
I am deeply concerned that middle east and the African continent both in wars may find 2014 is worse than 2013 very much so.

Interesting enough others will think I am being provocative and even lieing eg Shadow Minister, but I see this year by years end a mini revolt against Liberals climate change policy/nonpolicy,s.
And in full truth think the world will too maybe not this year but soon.
We too will find our self, country, in the spotlight over our climate change changes/policy no policy

Raisin nut in but sour grapes from bellicose Belly who is off the planet with his grapes of wrath as usual.

A biblical reference for Belly and ors to set upon. It doesn't take much. ;)

Grapes of wrath
<And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.>
Book of Revelation

A song offering for Belly, for whom six years is going to be a very long time to be talking about his pin-up boy Tony Abbott.

There's a widespread malignant thought form
that "other people are the problem."
Conservatives tend to blame Labor for our
problems, Labor blames conservatives.
And, almost
everyone blames asylum seekers and/or immigrants.
Some people are convinced homosexuals are the problem,
others think that single mothers are the problem.
Others blame women, still other blame men. And still
others, think the Christian Right is the problem,
and far, far too many people think that Muslims are the
problem. The entire culture has become a hysterical
blame session.

Yet a healthy, vital society is not one in which we
all agree. It's one in which those who disagree can do
so with honour and respect for other people's opinions
and an appreciation of our shared humanity.

I apologise for re-stating what I've posted previously,
however, without personal commitment to the attributes
of fair play and integrity, our country is in grave
danger. Malice and intolerance stalk our society,
staking claim to our minds, and not one corner of ous
social order is unaffected.

Our political conversation must shift away from the mass,
infantile finger-pointing that now pervades it.
It is not the Conservatives or Labor who are ruining this
country. It is the tendency on so many people's parts
to think that their way is the right way and that people
who disagree with them are bad.

We can disagree vehemently yet appropriately. Disagreement
must be respectful, or the disrespect itself poisons
us more than either side's position in the argument ever
could. Many of the things that most of us were brought
up to think "could never happen here," have already begun to
happen - dangerous scapegoating, violent hate crimes,
small-minded intolerance for the views of others.

At what point are symptoms seen as signs of a critical disease?
And at what point do we wake up enough to know that without
treatment this disease will destroy us?

It's more important that we renew dignified and respectul
dialogue with those who do not agree with us than that we
keep slavishly congratulating those who have the wisdom
to see things our way.

My thoughts are with the pending unemployed, every liberal govt; has created a pool of unemployed. It has to do with the implementation of unpopular policies [the govt;s that have policies that is]
I have the feeling 2014 is not going to be one of our best, in terms of prosperity and high unemployment. We have elected a govt; who has no direction. With promises and pledges in blood falling by the wayside with no plan B, i fear we are in for a torrid time to survive the next two and a half years. A govt; that openly calls climate change crap, expects a mere 9% to fix all of businesses problems. That has got to be a failure to say the least. Bearing in mind this govt; in opposition denied business a 1% drop in taxes. We have now annoyed Indonesia and China with just a few misplaced and unthought out words. How can we come out of this mess without a great deal of harm done to us all.
