Indy It would be good if people were responsible, but sometimes you have to idiot proof our infrastructure and that does cost money.

There's another great year of conspiracy-theory immersion in prospect for you Arjay, if you continue to be as gullible this year as you have been in the past.

>>Gee aren't we surrounded by idiots. This is the jury's finding. It was an unlawful killing. Dianna left a note saying how she was going to be killed.<<

The jury found that it was an unlawful killing, in the narrowest of interpretations, not that she was murdered by the Duke of Edinburgh. As m'learned friend the judge said at the time,

"In a case such as this it is all too easy for an exercise to develop of picking and choosing bits and pieces of the evidence from the transcripts and developing them in isolation from their context and the totality of the surrounding material."

It should concern you just a little that hizzoner seems to know you personally, Arjay.

But hey, about that note.

Even the most cursory examination shows it to be a fake. From the size of the writing - five words to a line? - to the clumsy phraseology - "I am sitting here at my desk today in October...", everything about it is phoney. No-one believed it then, when it magically appeared just in time to promote Burrell's re-imagining of history, "A Royal Duty", and the intervening years have added nothing to its credibility.

Yes, I know that it is pointless trying to guide you in the direction of a saner and less paranoid lifestyle, Arjay. But I promise I will keep on trying, for your own sake.

I'd have to agree with your comments concerning the notorious Pacific Hwy. BELLY. One of the most dangerous Roads, of it's type, in the world. Sorry, I'm off Topic.

Concerning all the speculation and rumour dealing with Princess Diana's unforeseen death. There's always been an abundance of conspiracy theories associated with any unexpected of precipitous death, particularly with some famous identities in the music industry ?

A woman leaves a note describing almost exactly how she will be killed. That letter was not presented as evidence to the court. There is a litany of lies ,discrepancies and omitted evidence. Dianna told many of her friends that they were out to kill her.

The people whom she accused of wanting to kill her were not called to give evidence. The Judges who presided over this case have sworn allegiance to the Crown. Many of the Royals were asked to comment on this doco and refused. This doco was banned in GB. If it is a lie and a farce, why ban it? Freedom of expression?

The Japanese Govt has brought in new laws jailing any journo for 10 yrs publishing giving uncensored info on Fukushima. Trust our Govts?

In the wake Assange and Snowden revelations, you'd think that people would be a tad smarter.

Arjay you will, I hope, remember our recent conversations about conspiracy's.
Just remind you it is my view this thread and thousands like it.
Keep our eyes away from true conspiracy's, and much more importantly, make people think every conspiracy is like this.
Duke is what he is a bad tempered product of an upper class that at best are twits.
But do you think he wanted to kill this girl from the same class as him?
So badly that her bodyguard could die too?
GEE.

Check your facts, Arjay.

>>A woman leaves a note describing almost exactly how she will be killed. That letter was not presented as evidence to the court.<<

That letter was in fact presented as evidence at the inquest.

"A handwritten letter in which Diana, Princess of Wales claimed that the Prince of Wales was plotting to kill her so he could marry Tiggy Legge-Bourke, the former nanny to Princes William and Harry, has been shown at the inquest into her death."

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1573170/Princess-Diana-letter-Charles-plans-to-kill-me.html

Also in evidence:

"During questioning on Tuesday, the letter was shown to Lucia Flecha da Lima, the wife of the former Brazilian ambassador to London and one of the princess's closest confidantes. She said that the princess had never expressed fears for her safety. 'I still don't believe in it,' she said. 'Paul Burrell was perfectly capable of imitating Princess Diana's handwriting. I don't believe she was fearing for her life'"

Any half-decent conspiracy theorist would also notice that it was not written on the headed notepaper that she normally used.

Clearly faked.
