Sorry to disagree with you but I usually take the simplest explanation first. Her driver was drunk and exceeding the speed limit. Some celebrities do play a damned foolish game of cat and mouse with the media, which includes high speed. The most obvious, likely persons spinning to avoid liability would be those who supplied the driver and gave orders.

Thinking about the time it takes for a motor accident victim to get to hospital, long delays are witnessed on Aussie roads daily as emergency workers struggle to separate the victims from the vehicles and stabilise them for transport. Just a few km over or a bit of arrogance at the wheel and there is likely a painful death awaiting. People who take risks on the road might think again if they could accept that reality.

Consider also the vehicle. If that Mercedes was being driven in compliance with traffic laws and with due care and attention, it would be very difficult, impossible, to imagine involvement in such a crash and with such devastating consequences.
