Your..dreams have contained many of..the ego’s symbols,
as well as movie/scripts..and other worldly/mis-created-imagry..and they..have confused you...

But that/was only..because you were asleep/and DID..NOT..realize..
the need..to know..the seeds..you so didst sow..grow..now/KNOW.

When you awake,..into/your/next-life..you will see..the
Truth around you..and in you,..and you will..then..no/longer believe in dreams,..because they*..will have..*no reality for you.

But the Kingdom..and/all that you have created..there
will have..great reality..for you,.because they.are beautiful
and true...for you.

In the Kingdom,..where you are..and what
you are..is..all/perfectly certain...There is
no doubt there,..because the first question..was never asked.

Having finally..been wholly
answered,..IT..unsurity..HAS..NEVER..really-BEEN.

BEING*..alone lives..[in the Kingdom],..where everything
lives..in God's goods/graces/mercies....*without question.

The time..that was spent..on questioning..and fearing..[in..the
dream]..has..instantly..given way..to the..true/good-of..Creation
and..on-to..its Eternity.

YOU are..as certain as God,..because you
are..as true/as He is...But..what was once/quite certain.in your minds..has become..only the ABILITY..that..enabled..you/for certainty.

The introduction.;.of abilities..into being..was the beginning
of UNcertainty,..because abilities*..are POTENTIALS,*not accomplishments.

Your abilities..are totally useless.in the presence of God’s
accomplishments..and also/of yours...Accomplishments are RESULTS which/HAVE BEEN..achieved...When they are perfect,.,abilities are meaningless.

It is curious..that the perfect..must now be perfected.

In fact,..it is impossible.

But you/must remember..that..*when you put..yourselves
in an impossible situation,..you believed
that the impossible..WAS possible.
indeed/even..[then]..probable.

Abilities..must be DEVELOPED,..or you cannot use them.
This is not true..of anything/that God created,.but it/is
the kindest-solution/possible..to what YOU..have mis-made.

In an/impossible situation,.you can develop..your abilities to
the point..where..only..they*..CAN GET/YOU..OUT OF IT.

You have a guide..to how to develop them,..but you
have..no commander..EXCEPT YOURSELF.

This leaves YOU..in charge of the Kingdom,..with both..a guide to
FIND it..and..a MEANS to keep it...You have..a model [plus..its extreme]..to follow..who will strengthen YOUR/command,..and never detract from..it..in any way.

You therefore retain..the central place in/your perceived enslavement,..a fact which ITSELF ..demonstrates/that you..are NOT enslaved.

You are..in an impossible situation..only because
you thought..it was possible..to be in/one.

You..WOULD/be..in an..impossible-situation..
if God..showed/you..your perfection,..and..PROVED*..to..you/that you were/wrong.

This..would demonstrate..that..even/the perfect..were/inadequate to bring THEMSELVES..to/the awareness..of their perfection,..and thus side/with..the belief..hat those who..*have/everything..need help,.and worse/that..without/external..assistance..are therefore helpless.

This is..the kind of,,fear/threat/biased-reasoning..that the ego engages in,..but/God,..*who KNOWS..that..His/creations..are..as they/were/created-perfect..thus..does-NOT..insult them.

This..would/be..clearly/seen..as*..impossible..as
the ego’s..*notion..that/it..has/can/or could..insulted Him...all*good/

That..is why..e4ven/the..Holy-Spirit..*NEVER commands...To command
is to assume..lesser/better..ie..effectively..base/fear-Inequality, *which..the Holy..Spirit/demonstrates..*does not exist...we are all/equally/blessed..of.our life's/gifts]

Fidelity to..premises..is a law..of/the mind,
and everything..God created..is faithful..to His ]..laws/Fidelio ....But/fidelity..un-to..other laws..is also..possible,

*not..because..the/laws..are true,
but/because..YOU..chose/to..[..MADE*THEM..REAL]..for you/ego.

What would be gained..if God..proved to/you
that you..have thought..even..your own/mis-creations..insanely?

Can..even..God
lose..*His own..certainty?
thus..your CERTAINTY..has tainted..
that..surety..is what certainty/demands..

We have..frequently stated..that
what/you..teach ARE..certain*.

[of this..you may/be certain].

Would..*you have..God..teach you
that you..have sinned?

If He..confronted the..less/knowledgeable-/self
you have MIS-made/with the Truth..He created..FOR you,
to/use..as you saw fit..to do..what could/you be..but UN-afraid?

You would..doubt/your skills/ability/confidences..even..your sanity, which is..truly..the one thing..in which you/can FIND.the sanity He gave you.

God/replies/answers..he..does not..judge/fudge..nor teach.
To teach..is to imply..*a lack..=which God KNOWS..is not there].

God..is not..in..conflict..nor to/be..conflicted.
Teaching aims..at..mutual/change,..even..mutual-ex/change..but God created..*ONLY..the..changeless.

The separation..was not..a loss/of perfection,
but a failure..in..mutual/equal/person..2..personum-COMMUNICATION.

A..rather..harsh..base/beastly..and strident form
of communication..arose..as the ego’s..[herd/beast-mind]..inner-voice.

yet..it..was..never real..thus..It could not shatter
the peace/of God,..*but it COULD..but/briefly..shatter YOURS.
God..did not blot/it..out,..because to/eradicate.it w..ould be to attack it.

by..god..Being questioned,..He did not..question
/the question/only offered..up..as usual..his reply.. He merely gave
the Answer.

God’s..INSTANT/omnipresent/mind-settling..answer..IS your..only..true/teacher...Like any good/teacher,..He DOES
know..more than/you know NOW,..*but He teaches..you only..to..make you equals.

This is because..you..had/ALREADY..been/taught wrong,
thus..having..believed what/was ..not true...

yet*..YOU DID/NOT BELIEVE..IN
YOUR OWN..and all others/PERFECTION.

Could God..but..teach you that you..have/had
[made/for..your-self]..a split-mind..*when..He knows..your mind only as..complety..whole?

What God..DOES know..is that..His communication/channels
are not/open..to Him,..just..so/that He..can-not impart..to you
His joy..and..simply..to..know that His/Children..are wholly joyous.

This is..an/ongoing..ever/present/living-process,
not..in time,..nature..but..in eternity/nurture.

God’s..[e][chi]..extending/outward,..
his..life force/though..not His..completeness,..
is blocked..when..the Sonship does/not..communicate with Him..as one.

So..He thought,..“My Children..ears..are..a/sleep,
and..these..my childrens..minds..must be re-awakened.”

How can/you wake..your..own/created-children..to
that better..that/more/eternal..and..more kindly..than/with..a gentle..but..beast/mind-Voice..that/will..not frighten..them,..

but/will merely..seek..to/remind them..that the darkness..of/night.. is over..and.,.the/Light..has come..saying..come home..[not-alone].

You do..not inform them
that..the nightmares..which frightened..them..so badly
were/not real,..because..our..*ancestral/children..BELIEVE..in magic.

thus..You merely..reassure them..that they
are safe NOW...Then..you train them..to RECOGNIZE..clearly*
THE DIFFERENCE..between sleeping..and waking,..so that..THEY will understand..they need..*not_be*afraid..of..any/mis-created/mis-dreams.

Then when..others..bad dreams come,..they too..will call
on the..Light/love/life/logic/liberty/laudable..THEMSELVES..to dispel them.

A wise teacher..teaches through..the equality/principle..of approach, NOT..by..avoidance...He does/*not emphasize..what you must avoid to escape from harm..as much as what you need*..to learn..to have joy.

This is true..even of the world’s-teachers...Consider.the confusion that..a child would/experience..if he were told,..by anyone..

“Do not do THIS..because it might/hurt you..and make you/unsafe,
*but if you do..chose/to,,do..THAT you..will escape from harm
and be safe,..and..then you will not/be afraid.”

All of this..could be included..in only/three word-forms:
“Do only that...good true..for other”..

That simple/statement.is perfectly clear,
easily understood,..good/truth/love..and..its..very easily remembered.

The Holy Spirit..doth/*NEVER..initiate..but merely..itemizes/errors, because..He does/not frighten..children,..and/those who lack..application..of even/their-own..wisdom ARE..minded/of..children.

But He..ALWAYS answers..their call,..and His
dependability..makes THEM..more certain...growth/happens..in spurts]

Children..DO confuse fantasy..and..the/lived-experiences..of.. reality,..and..they ARE frightened..because they..do/not..know the difference.

The Holy/Spirit..makes NO distinction/among dreams.
He illuminates..our wants..then..his/light..shines/them away.
His de-light..is ALWAYS..to reply..the/wished/call..to awake, WHATEVER..you may*have..been dreaming.

Nothing..ever-lasting..lies in dreams,..and the/Holy-Spirit,
shining..with the..love/light/logic/lumen..from God Himself,
speaks only..for what/lasts forever.

the first/will-be..the last

When..your body..and your ego..and your..fearful/illusory-dreams
are gone,..you will..*know that..*YOU..will last forever.

Many think..that this is accomplished..easily..through death,
but..NOTHING is/accomplished..through death/because death..is nothing.

EVERYTHING..is accomplished/through
life,living/light/love/logic..and life..
receptivity/perception..is..of/the mind..and..in..the Mind.

The body..neither lives..nor dies,
because..it cannot..contain..*you..who ARE*..life/itself.

as we share..our/alness..of..the same*mind,..YOU CAN
OVERCOME DEATH..simply..by/doing..that ye saw/me do..BECAUSE I DID.

Death is/an attempt..to resolve/conflict..by not/willing..at all. Like any-other..impossible solution/which the..beast-ego attempts, IT WILL NOT/WORK.

God..*did not make..the body,[..because it/is destructible],
and therefore..*not of the/eternal/infinite-Kingdom.

The body..is the symbol..*of the WHAT YOU..THINK YOU ARE.
It is..clearly a/separation device,..and therefore..does not exist.

The Holy Spirit,..as always,..takes what
you*..have made..and translates it..into a learning/device FOR you.

Again,..as always,..it/reinterprets what the ego..itself..uses
as..an argument..FOR separation..into an/argument AGAINST..it.

If the mind..*can heal the body,..but
the body..cannot heal the mind,..then
the mind..MUST BE..the..STRONGER.

Every miracle..demonstrates this.
We have said..that..the Holy-.Spirit..is..*the
MOTIV-ATION..for miracles...This is because..He ALWAYS tells
you..assures/you..informs..you..that..*ONLY the/mind..is real, because..*only the mind..CAN/BE..*SHARED.

The body..*IS separate,..and/therefore*CANNOT be/part-of..you.

To be..of one mind..is meaningful,..but..to/be..of one body is
meaningless...By the laws/of mind,..then,..the body..IS meaningless.

To..the/Holy-Spirit..THERE IS
NO ORDER..OF DIFFICULTY..IN MIRACLES..nor persons.

This..is/FAMILIAR enough..to you/by now,..but
it..has not/yet..become believable...Therefore,..you
do not/understand it..thus..and cannot*..USE it...[thus/persist..in/ab-using..it]

We..have too/much..to accomplish.on behalf of
the..full-filled-living/loving-Kingdom..to let..even..
this..crucial-concept..[our/belief/mic-belief[[relief]...slip away.

true-belief....is a..real foundation-stone..of the
thought system..I teach..and want..YOU to teach.

You cannot..perform miracles..without/believing it,..because..
it is..a..comprehensive-belief..conceived/achieved..in perfect equality.

Only..one equal gift..CAN be offered to/the..equal..
[Sons of..Good]..and..that is..FULL/APPRECIATION.

Nothing more..and nothing less.
Without..a..range..of orders..strangely
,order..of difficulty..IS..comparatively-meaningless,
and..then..there/must BE..no range/in.what you offer..to each-other.

The Holy/Spirit,..which leads..via..good/to God,..translates communication..into..communed-being,..just as He..ultimately
translates..perception into knowledge.

You..DO NOT LOSE..WHAT YOU..did..COMMUNICATE.
The ego..uses the body..for attack,concealment/secrets/for pleasure, and..for pride.

The insanity..of this..mis-perception
makes it..a fearful..dream-like/surreal-one.

The/Holy Spirit..sees it..only as..a means/of COMMUNICATION.
And because communicating..*IS sharing,.it becomes communion.

Your/base-ego/mind..might argue..that fear..as well as
love can be/communicated,..and therefore..can be shared.
But this..is not so..real..as it sounds.

Those/who communicate fear..are..*promoting attack,
and attack..*always BREAKS communication,..and therefore makes communion*impossible.

Egos DO..join together..in temporary/allegiance,..but
always..*for WHAT..EACH ONE/CAN GET*..acquire/SEPARATELY.

The Holy Spirit..communicates..only WHAT..EACH ONE
CAN/GIVE..un-TO ALL...*He never takes..ANYTHING back,..because He wants..YOU to keep it..[communication..of ideas..thus becomes barter].

Therefore,..His teaching..must/begins..with the
lesson:..To HAVE,..all..GIVE all..un-TO all.

This is..a very preliminary step,..and THE
ONLY ONE..YOU MUST..freely/chose..to..TAKE YOURSELF.

It is not/even..necessary
that you COMPLETE..the step yourself,
but it IS necessary..that you/chose..the turn in that direction.

Having willed..it..to go that way,
you place YOURSELF..in charge of the/journey,.
where..the perfect/you..and..ONLY..the greatness..of you must remain.

This..step APPEARS to exacerbate/conflict
rather than resolve it,..because it..is the..BEGINNING step in reversing..your..primitive..ego-mind/perception..and turning it..right side up.

facing..the light/not obscuring..it.

This conflicts/with..the upside-down-perception..which you
have not..yet abandoned,..or..the change in/direction..would not have been necessary.

Some people..remain at/this step..for a very
long time,..experiencing..VERY acute..conflict.

Many try..to accept..the CONFLICT,..rather
than/to take..the next step..toward its resolution.
But..having taken/the first step,..*they WILL-be helped.

Having willed..what they..CANNOT..will/to
complete alone,..THEY ARE NO LONGER..ALONE.

You,..Helen,..had taken/this step,
and because..you believed..in it,*you taught it..to Bill,who still believed..in the solution/ignorance..of sleep.

You..were not*consistent..in teaching it,
but you..did..so often*enough.to enable him..to learn it.

Once HE learned it,..he could..teach YOU
how..to become..more consistently awake,..and thus..begin/to waken HIMSELF.

This/placed him,..too,..in command of..the[acim]..journey.

His recognition..of the direction..it must take
was..perfectly stated..when he..INSISTED_ON/COLLABORATION.

You,..H.,..had/taken..a giant-step..*INTO conflict,
but..*B...turned you both forwards/TOWARD..THE WAY-OUT.

The more..he teaches..this,
the more..he will ..affirm/learn..of..it.

The more..he teaches..the more..he will..earn it.
All/the separated ones..have..a basic/fear
of retaliation..and abandonment.

This is/because..they BELIEVE-in..attack..fear..and rejection,
so this..is what/they..perceive*..and/teach..and/LEARN...These insane concepts..are clearly/the result/of..their-own..dissociation..and
mis-projection.

What..you teach/you are,..*but it-is..quite apparent
that you..can..teach/wrongly,..and therefore..TEACH*YOURSELVES/WRONG.

Many..have..mis-thought..that I/was..attacking/them,
even though..it was..and..is quite..apparent/that..I was_NOT.

An in-sane/learner..learns..strange/lessons.
What..you must..understand is/that,.when you/do-not..SHARE a
thought-system,..you/ARE weakening..it...possibilities...Those who BELIEVE..*in it/therefore..perceive/this..as an/ATTACK..ON/THEM-selves.

This is because./everyone identifies/himself..WITH/his..thought system,..and..EVERY/thought-system..centers on*WHAT..YOU BELIEVE/YOU ARE.

If..the central-balance..of/the..thought-system..is TRUE,
only..truth extends/outward..*from it...But/if..a/lie..is.at its center,.only/DECEPTION..proceeds from/it.

All/good-teachers..realize/that..only..
core/fundamental/beneficent-change..will last.

But..they do-NOT..begin/at..that level.
Strengthening..the..inner-MOTIVATION..for change/is..their/first and foremost-goal.....It is also/their last..and..final one.

Increasing/the..motivation..for/change..IN/THE.LEARNER
is/all..that..a teacher NEED/do..to GUARANTEE*change...This is
because/a..change/in motivation..IS..&a change/of mind,..and this will..INEVITABLY produce/fundamental change..BECAUSE the..mind-set* is..fundamental.

The first-step..in the reversal..*[or/un-doing-process]..then,..
is the/UNDOING..of..the..be/getting..the consieving..of/its..concept.

Accordingly,..the/Holy-Spirit’s..first lesson/was:
To HAVE..all..is..to/..GIVE..all..un-TO all.

We said..that/this..is apt-to..INCREASE*conflict/temporarily,
and..we can clarify..this still/further..now../At this point,
the equality..of having..and..of/being..is..not/yet perceived.

Until it/IS,..all-having..still..appears
to/be..the OPPOSITE..of..all-being.

Therefore,..from/the first..the..lesson SEEMS to
contain..a contradiction..because it..is/extreme
simply/by..BEING LEARNED..BY..A CONFLICTED-MIND.

This/MEANS..conflicting motivation,..and so
the/lesson..CANNOT be/learned..consistently..as yet.
Further,..the mind of..the learner projects..its own split,
and..therefore does/NOT.-perceive consistent-minds..in others,.. making him*suspicious..of&..THEIR*motivations.[negating/them]

This/is..the real reason..why/in..so..many respects
the first-lesson..is the/hardest..to learn.

simply/by-being..Still strongly/aware..of the ego..in himself,
and..by..responding*primarily..TO the ego..[possessive]..in others, he..is learning..or rather..being taught/pre-pared/preened/primed..to react*..to BOTH..as if/what he DOES..believe..*IS/NOT TRUE.

ergo/ego..is/inverted/inversion..Upside/down..as always,
the ego..perceives..the first/lesson[that/of..possessing]..as insane.

In fact,..this is/its..only alternative..here/now[insatans realm]
,because..here..the other..free-one,..which would be much LESS acceptable,..would obviously be..that IT..is insane.

The ego’s/judgment,..then,..is predetermined
by..what..it IS,..though..not-more so..than is..any other/product..of material/thought.

The fundamental-change..will still/occur..with/the
change..[of mind]..IN THE THINKER.

Meanwhile,..the increasing/clarity..of the/Holy-Spirit’s
*voice..makes it..impossible for/the learner..*NOT..TO LISTEN.

For/a..time,..then,..he IS receiving/
conflicting-messages AND..*ACCEPTING BOTH..as/if..true...This is
the classic..“double-bind”..in communication,..[which/you.wrote
about/yourselves..quite recently,]..and with/such/good examples/too.

It is..interesting/that Helen..claimed at/the..time..that
she..had/never..heard of it..and..did-not..understand it.

You might/remember..our brother’s..insistence
on..its inclusion..Helen thought..he had/become..(quite)
irrational/on..this point,..but/it...was quite..strongly reinforced in /HIS mind,..and so he/wanted..to teach it ..in his text.

This,..of course,..was..a very/good-way..for YOU..to learn,,from-it.

The way out of conflict between two opposing thought systems is clearly TO CHOOSE..ONE AND RELINQUISH THE OTHER.

If you identify..WITH your thought/system, and
you..cannot escape that/if..you accept..two thought/systems
*which..are in COMPLETE_DIS-agreement,..any..prolonged/peace..of mind IS impossible.

If you..TEACH both,..which..you/will surely/do..as long as
you ACCEPT both,..you are teaching/conflict..and LEARNING it.

But you DO..*want peace,..or you wouldnot h..ave called
upon the voice.for PEACE to help you...His..LESSON..thus..is not insane,..but the CONFLICT IS.

There can/BE..no conflict between..sanity and insanity,
because..only one is true,..and/therefore..only ONE is REAL.
The ego..tries to persuade/you..that it is/up.to YOU to decide
which/voice is true...But the Holy/Spirit..teaches you..that truth was created/by God,..and..YOUR decision/CAN-NOT change it.

As you begin to..realize the quiet/power..of His..living/loving-Voice
AND..ITS PERFECT..CONSISTENCY,..thus..it MUST dawn/on your minds.. that you/are trying to/undo..a decision which..was made irrevocably FOR you.

That is why..we suggested before/that there..was..self-help in reminding..yourselves..to allow/the Holy-Spirit..to decide/for..God for-YOU.

You are NOT/asked..to make insane/decisions,
although..you are free..to self-deceptively..THINK you/are.

But it MUST..seen..to/be insane..to believe IT..IS UP-TO/YOU
to decide..what God’s Creations..ARE...The Holy-Spirit..perceives the conflict..EXACTLY AS/IT IS.

Therefore,..His second/lesson is:
To HAVE peace,..TEACH peace
yearn..to LEARN it.

This is still..a preliminary step,..because having*..and being
are still..not..properly..equated..holistically...in-mind..but it
is more..advanced..in your/will..than the first/step,..which is really..only..a thought REVERSAL.

The/second step..is a positive affirmation..of
WHAT..*YOU WANT...This,..then IS a step..in the/direction..OUT of conflict,..because it means..that alternatives have been considered, and..ONE has been chosen*..as MORE DESIRABLE.

But the evaluation..“more desirable”..still implies..the mis-thought
that..the desirable..has degrees...of desire-ability.

Therefore,.although this s/tep..is essential for
the ultimate decision,..it is clearly..NOT the/final one.

It should be clear..that the recognition..of the lack of order in miracles..has not yet/been accepted,..because NOTHING..*is difficult that..different..is WHOLLY DESIRED.

To desire wholly*..is to CREATE,
and creating...CANNOT be difficult..
if God Himself..created you AS...a creator.*

The second step,..then,..is still perceptual..[the precept/concept].. but..it is..nevertheless..a giant step toward/the..unified perception that..*parallels God’s knowing.

As..you take/this step..and HOLD..firmly..THIS..peaceful/loving.. DIRECTION,..you will be pushing..toward the/center..of your thought system,..where the FUNDAMENTAL/change will occur.

You are/only..just..beginning this step now,..but.you have started..on this way..by realizing that..logically/logistic-ally ONLY..*ONE WAY..IS eternaly/POSSIBLE.
