Perception,..[in..the afterlife]..from..pages7/8/48
http://www.divinetruth.com/PDF/People/Other/Jane%20Sherwood%20-%20Post%20Mortem%20Journal.pdf

in the early days..here..is very inadequate/owing to the poor development..of one’s astral/bodies senses...So one will
expect..that at first this world..will have a misty..and dreamlike quality...But as this condition clears,..the kind of perception
that takes it place..is not of the same order..as that on earth.

It must not be forgotten..that..HERE*..one’s new body is emotional in its..very nature and that..therefore its new powers will be based on emotions...The total reaction to all that is seen or heard –
the keener awareness,..the swifter response,..involves the whole emotional being.

For instance,..when I see a bush.or a tree I
am not able..to perceive it..simply in visual terms;
I have_to reckon on..an emotional response..to it. I like it, I value it, or..even love it,//or if I am not yet..beyond a negative response I may*..dislike it or even hate it;..*but there will be a strong feeling/auto-reaction in either case.

Similarly with one’s..re*actions to people.
They awaken..the strongest response of all.

A cool,..etached,..merely intellectual reaction..*to any-[real]-thing is practically impossible..while we are in this..emotional..etherized body...We have..to see, hear and understand..*with our feelings and this gives a keener..and more personal edge to all impressions.

It is true..to say that on this plane..most of us are getting clear of emotional faults..so that we do present a bewildering variety of
beautiful forms and colours;..hence the usual reaction to each other is that of..*appreciation and love.

I think the nearest/approach to our normal response is the spontaneous feeling of wonder,..joy and almost worship which can be felt on earth..when something utterly innocent and beautiful is seen and grasped by the emotions.

This is the poet’s vision, the artist’s
and perhaps the mystics too.

In such a case, perception is not processed by the mind
which is a cold and logical..instrument,.but impinges*..directly upon [overlays]..over..the feelings.

Our approach..to our world,..then
can no longer be cold and..impersonal.

I wish I could convey something.of the flame-like lucidity of our process of reasoning.

The emotional grasp of an...impression
is followed by an immediate awareness..of the essential being..of a thing..[and further thinking about it..is shaped..by our..emotive often/biased..[herd-mind RESPONSE..we term-beast mind][ergo/ego*..

where..are we..in relation..to revelations..?

what links the cold spell..in the north?

A Wanderer in the Sprit Lands, by Franchezzo
(A. Farnese), [1896], at sacred-texts.com
http://new-birth.net/booklet/Wanderer_a4.pdf

CHAPTER IX.--The Frozen Land--The Caverns of Slumber.
I was next sent to visit what will indeed seem a strange country to exist in the spirit world. The Land of Ice and Snow--the Frozen Land--in which lived all those who had been cold and selfishly calculating in their earthly lives.

Those who had crushed out and chilled and frozen from their own lives and the lives of others, all those warm sweet impulses and affections which make the life of heart and soul. Love had been so crushed and killed by them that its sun could not shine where they were, and only the frost of life remained.

Great statesmen were amongst those whom I saw dwelling in this land, but they were those who had not loved their country nor sought its good. Only their own ambitions, their own aggrandizement had been their aim, and to me they now appeared to dwell in great palaces of ice and on the lofty frozen pinnacles of their own ambitions.

Others more humble and in different paths in life I saw, but all alike were chilled and frozen by the awful coldness and barrenness of a life from which all warmth, all passion, was shut out.

I had learned the evils of an excess of emotion and of passion, now I saw the evils of their entire absence. Thank God this land had far fewer inhabitants than the other, for terrible as are the effects of mis-used love, they are not so hard to overcome as the absence of all the tender feelings of the human heart.

oh holy night

Literal English translation

Midnight,..Christians,
it is the solemn hour,11;11.
When will..of man bow down..under/God

O holy night!..The stars..[soons]..are brightly shining,
It is the night's..of beyond..our dear Saviour's birth.
Long lay the world in sin..and error constantly/pining,

The Redeemer..has broken..every..earthly/bond:
The Earth is free,..and Heaven..is opened.

Led by the light's..of Faith serenely beaming,
With glowing hearts..by His cradle we under-stand.

He knows..our need,..to.our weakness i..he/is no stranger,

He sees a brother..where there was..to/be..only a slave,
most/merciful/Love unites those..that iron/mai'dens had chained.
Who will tell Him..of our gratitude,..beyond/platitude/attitude[ego]

So..we/are..led by light..of a star[sun]..so/sweetly gleaming,
Here come..the wise men..from Orient land...simply..doing/book-keepin

The King of Kings..lay thus..in lowly manger;
In all our trials born..borne..to be our friend.
Behold your King!
By Him,..of love..let Earth accord!

Truly.He taught us t..o love one another,
His law is love..and His gospel..is peace.
Long live His truth,..and may it last forever,
For in His name..all discordant noise..shall cease.

Sweet hymns of joy..in grateful chorus raise us,
With all..of...our hearts we praise His holy name.

Christ is the Lord!

For all of us..He was born,..as borne..He suffers and dies.
'Til He appear'd..and was born again..and the soul/within us all felt its worth.

A thrill of hope/the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks..a new and glorious morn.

The King of Kings..was born..in a humble manger;
O mighty ones..of today,..proud of your greatness,..are our biggest/danger.

It is to..your pride that/those..of God..ever..reaches.
Bow your heads..before thy Redeemer!
Bow your heads..before he Remember!

People stand up!
Sing of your..deliverance,
as good-man upon..us..descendant..[unto us]
To erase..the stain of..our/own..original sin
And to end..the wrath of His Father.

The entire world..thrills with hope
On this night..that gives..unto..it a Saviour.

People kneel down,..and await..simp-ly..wait for your deliverance.
Christmas,..Christmas,..came/went..here is the Redeemer,
Christmas,..Christmas,..here is the Redeemer!
time/to repay/lent.

May the ardent..light of our Faith..in loves mercies.goodness..rebound
Guide us all..to the cradle of..the infant,
As in ancient times.a brilliant star
Guided the Oriental kings..unto..service..there.

Christmas,..oh..Christmas,..let..us sing of the Redeemer,
Christmas,..even/Christmas,gone..sing/song..of the Redeemer!

continuance follows..[or/not]
by his will..alone.

John Sullivan Dwight's version/Unattributed version

Fall on your knees!..for/those you have wronged
O hear the angel voices!
O night divine,..O night when Christ was born;
O night divine,..O night,..of men..O night Divine.

Behold your King!..Before Him..the highly/lowly slowly..bend!
Behold your King,..Before Him..slowly un-bend!

Truly He taught..us to love..done and..other;
His law is love..and His gospel is peace.

Chains shall He break..for the slave/serf/peon is..yet..our brother;
And in His..name all oppression shall..cease.
Sweet hymns of joy..in grateful chorus raise we,
Let all..within us praise..His holy name.

Christ is the Lord!..lO praise His Name forever more,
His power..and glory..ever more proclaim...who leads deserves/you
His power..and glory evermore..proclaim...your status..of child..of the further.

O! Holy night!
The stars,..their gleams prolonging,
Watch o'er the eve of..our dear Saviour's birth.

Long lay the world in sin and error, longing
For His appearance,..then the Spirit felt its worth.
A thrill of hope;..the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.

Fall on your knees!..O hear the angel voices!
O night divine, the night when Christ was Born;
O night, O holy night, O night divine!

Led by the light of faith serenely beaming,
With glowing hearts..we stand by the Babe adored.

all..O'er the world..a star is sweetly gleaming,
And come now,..ye fissures..of men..ye Shepherds,..from your flocks unboard.,,your just reward.

The Son of God..lay thus..within lowly manger;
In all.of our trials..ye..child..ye born to be our Lord.

He knows our need,..our weakness..ever lasting,
Behold your King!..By Him,..let Earth accord!
Then ever,..ever praise we,
His power..peace..and glory evermore proclaim!
His power..his joy..and glory..evermore proclaim!

(The second..and third choruses..are
often replaced with..a refrain of the first).

(The second verse..is often omitted
in most public..renderings.)

(Also the final chorus,..His power and glory,
evermore proclaim!,..is often changed to French-
English mix: Noël, Noël,..O Night,..O Night Divine.)

just be on time.
