China, all I am saying is the catastrophic rise in sea levels that is sending islanders scurrying for their canoes is not evident in Sydney Harbour? In fact tide levels have been lower than average in the past decade. They are returning towards the average now. Do you think the missing water is the culprit….it headed up north to sink islands but has now returned to average out our tides?
I can stick my head out of the window to see if it’s raining Belly, I don’t need a northern hemisphere money driven conspiracy to tell me that, the same with sea levels. Wind farms paid £30 million a year to stand idle because the grid can't cope with all the energy they produce
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2388417/Wind-farms-paid-30-million-year-stand-idle-grid-cope-energy-produce.html Wind farms are being given around £30million a year in compensation to switch off or slow down their turbines because nearly half the electricity they make is not needed. The cash, which comes from household bills, is paid when the National Grid is unable to cope with the extra power produced during high winds or periods of low demand. Known as ‘balancing’, the arrangement is intended to compensate firms for energy they are unable to sell. But as the number of wind farms grows, the rates have hit record levels. Firms are often paid more to turn off their giant turbines than for the electricity they produce. Last weekend alone, householders handed £3.1million to energy firms for doing absolutely nothing as up to 30 wind farms were paid to switch off. Associated Press* retracts bogus north pole lake photo http://rare.us/story/associated-press-retracts-bogus-north-pole-lake-photo/ In its retraction, the AP admitted that not only was the “lake” simply a small melt-pond but that it was natural, not due to global warming. The AP also admitted that the “lake” wasn’t even at the North Pole,* explaining that the monitoring station..where the photo was taken had drifted hundreds of miles to the south. http://wattsupwiththat.com/2013/08/09/breaking-news-seventh-first-climate-refugees-discovered/ NASA’s climate “tipping point” fails to materialize http://alethonews.wordpress.com/2013/08/09/nasas-climate-tipping-point-fails-to-materialize/ 2008 NASA scare mongering which was disseminated by Voice of America (now deleted from VOA archives): http://rinf.com/alt-news/breaking-news/us-lawyers-challenge-hidden-evidence/57319/ According to this DMI temperature plot, the high Arctic has dropped below freezing about two weeks early http://wattsupwiththat.com/2013/08/08/according-to-this-dmi-temperature-plot-the-arctic-has-dropped-below-freezing-about-two-weeks-early/ The daily mean temp 80 -90 degrees North has remained below climatological normal for more than 120 days, and has now dropped below freezing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1na4adCFiLw&feature=player_embedded Posted by one under god, Saturday, 10 August 2013 7:00:20 PM

OUG old mate you will note I have been absent from your threads.
Not just by chance we hold views so very far apart. You can lean on SOG,he too is a bit like hard work for me. Some how a plea for any one having trouble with the site. And my tin mug rattling on behalf of the site. Got us back to my evil ALP. Let common sense run away, let the thought we Labor voters are few and mostly maggots. Let Abbott slip in to power then? Let the little grub a Buildenberg member run off at the mouth. It will give you both, and others ample reason to blast them, as our pain levels climb. I must be mad. I thought and think both sides need reform, that one day we would have an election based on policy,s not mud. Posted by Belly, Sunday, 11 August 2013 6:54:41 AM

Our debate on this subject climate change, well many debates about it in fact.
You told us how you judge the issue.
A bit like the swaggies breakfast, a good look around.
Not by reading the thousands of pages warning us about *current changes*
Bloke while manning a election center for guess what party over the last 3 weeks it has been the most mentioned and feared subject.
It will get its time in the spotlight before this campaign is over.
