Yes Indi, and we welcome them, and their religious baggage with open arms.

Now I am generalizing, are many muslms are good people, but, where else in the world can you not work, have a large family and sit back and let the tax payer pay to raise them, all while thumbing their noses at the locals, their leaders and their laws.

At times you have to just sit back and laugh!

I don't know if the situation is how you generalize it to be. If all these people are on the dole they would be in the unemployment figures.
The poppa says he is not to judge same sex interaction. If Abbott changes hid mind, we will know who is running for PM.

doog,
The Government wouldn't dare revealing the real figures. Would be good if some TV channel did a survey though. Even more interesting would be a survey on bureaucrats' pays & conditions.
And yes Manus Island is now a paradise ruined by our Government. Our own islands have become dumping grounds for career bureaucrats & Manus is becoming a dumping ground for muslims.

doog, any system that calculates employment as being one hour per week is false and misleading, however, in defense of the current government, the previous governments used the same system.

On the other hand, Under employment is a product of labor's doing.

Another problem we have is the working poor.

Are you aware that almost half of all tax payers actually receive more in government hand outs than they pay in taxes, so, this means that the rest of the workers not only pay the bills, but they also pick up,the slack of these payees.

Negative tax is nothing new, it's been around for at least 20 years.
One hour a week, can you substantiate that or was it written on a wall somewhere. There is more to it than your simple solution.
Not all refugees are idiots as u would have us believe, the ones i came across spoke good English and had various skills
