If you look it up you will find that a non-citizen with a permanent resident visa can only be deported if he commits a crime and is sentenced to at leasr 2 years jail. Even then it can, and has, been successfully apealled, like a convicted drug dealer was allowed to stay because he claimed to be the father of a child born here. So we are very accomodating.

In the case of asylum seekers, they get off even lighter. Some have committed arson of buildings and other damage to facilities and not even charged.

So if this sexual attacker is an asylum seeker, he will probably only get a talking to. Gee, we are good at giving 'cultural consideration'.

You mean sending them back before they can establish themselves in an entrenched network in Australia & cause irreparable damage to our our society ? Nah ! We have to spend at least treble the amount of money on them to what we give our own needy. I'm sure marilyn shepherd will have the precise figures of what we should deny our own & hand to the imported no-hopers.
