Dear Belly,

I don't for one minute doubt that your actions come from
love.

However, all I'm saying is - lets wait until all the facts
are in. I don't believe in blaming the entire organisation -
like the HSU for the actions of a few rotten sods. I'm sure
there's enough genuine, decent people that make up the HSU.
The union should not be judged by what a few corrupt and
greedy men did. They shall be called to account.

As for FWA - and it taking as long as it did for the report
to come out. I read on another site - FWA is separate from the Commonwealth -
and is not controlled (and shouldn't be) by its executive.
Apparently -it also was not equiped to deal with the
allegations that fell
into its lap. And there were more than one or two. It had
an enormous amount of work that it had to do - and it needed
to be done properly - hence the time taken was necessary.

Now, we need to let the process be completed - and as I stated
in my early post - things will be resolved in due course.

As for the Prime Minister's leadership? Mistakes have been
made, granted - but it's still a while until the next election
and she is getting on with the job of governing. Who knows
in politics anything may happen yet. We'll have to wait and see.
I heard this morning that Peter Costello wants to come back
into the political arena. Now that would throw a spanner into
Tony Abbott's comfort zone.

Take it easy and chin up.
We care about you.

Lexi in fact a race horse follower gets far more involved in the form guide than one who is not interested.
I got very much interested and took a roll in politics and unionism.
If today it was my task, or yours to put together a modern plan, a constitution for the ALP.
Knowing about its foundation, the tree of knowledge, its reason to exist, its birth parents the union movement.
And its battle to define its self against Communism.
I would first talk about trust, never ever betraying its founders or its current followers.
As unions hold 22% no more, of workers as members,I would rightly, brand HSU as traitors/criminals.
I would demand accountability and openness from both.
Lexi understand a current plan to remove Gillard is underway.
She will be removed.
If Shorten gets the job he will, instantly, put Labor back on the map.
Note too, no one wants to ask Australia would they vote for Rudd, they would still.
Gillard can never get Her knifing of him off her back.
To silently except a wrong from your own side, but expect the wrongs of the other side to be uncovered is Liberal Party practice not Labors I hope.
once more individual, grant me the same I gave you, ignore me .
You are not equipped to judge others. and if not a troll what are you?
*You asked me to ignore your posts*
Gladly, please do the same for me, you are equipped to comment on anything.

I am reminded that in discussions such as this we will always clash.
Opinions are cheap and as common as leaves on the ground at this time of the year.
Too that I am not special, I get it wrong as often as any one.
But also that some are lost in a land only they know.
In 1970, I warn and weary at SOME in Labors flirtation with Communism, and Socialism, left my past flirtations with both forever.
The big bloke EGW, offered real hope,he even had to guts to take on the then Faceless men, oh the existed then, and yes to a lessor extent exists now.
How many will remember a power broker Charlie Oliver?
He headed my union, The great Australian Workers Union.
His power was such he *Gave permission*! for EGW to stand for the leadership of the ALP!
In my mind, still today,Unions should concentrate on their members.
Not controlling the ALP.
Workers are not all ALP voters and they refuse to join us, let my party breath..
Fund campaign but not rule the ALP.
We the ALP stand on the brink of a real life horror story.
Union faction heads put us there.
The lights on the hill once saw us march in hope, now the worker living in that old house would be hard pressed to be selected for a seat in Parliament.
And unlikely to become a union official in most unions.
HSU, ALP concealing it, putting Thomson in a seat?
Grave yards around Australia rumble as our forefathers roll in their graves.
We will rebuild , be the party we once had been but first?
Get Gillard out.

Events have moved on, merging my early thread Hobsons choice or no choice.
And about ten, from me and others about Gillards rule.
Even ones about Tony Abbott.
A wind is blowing,as it strengthens it removes nails one by one.
Soon the sheets of iron will start flying.
Gillard can not survive this year, maybe not next month.
Those asking me to view Abbott must understand, Australia is blind to him, while Gillard rules.
And AG after Gillard he too, will face his gale,as sure as the sun shines.
Labors new leader, who ever, must confront the task, dumping the rubbish, right or wrong, on others.
And even knowing Abbott may take government without an election fight both internally, ALP/Unions to be seen as honest.
And confront our part in hiding the true nature of Conservative Australia and its media puppets.
Good by Julie, thanks, for nothing, except going.
