Josh McDowell has three volumes on the historical evidence of Jesus and the rise of the Christian Church from the first Century. There is more written evidence for the historical Jesus than for Julius Caesar, so I suppose you also doubt his existence on the same basis.

That both persons existence is based in faith in the documents.
