I am so sick of the stunts pulled by this incompetent Queensland government, to try to take the spot light off their continual failures.

Still I suppose that it is nice to know, that after some work experience as a checkout chick, the premier is probably likely to have some chance of obtaining a job in an area more suited to her skills, & natural abilities, after she is chucked out of her present one.

It is a good thing I suppose. It would not be nice, if she fails to be able to survive on her small pension, to see her living on the street.

Anna Bligh has been lobbying strongly for more women on boards. She could follow in the footsteps of ex-Lord Mayor of Brisbane Sallyanne (Salaryanne) Atkinson, who was the 'Chair' of the ill-fated ABC Learning.

OK Ludwig, as you asked.

First of all, everyone knows the only thing we have too much/many of in Qld is public servants. Old Joe had 6 staff in the premiers dept, Anna has over 206. [mostly journalist spin doctors]

1/ Last week an injured bloke did 140 Km in the back of an ambulance looking for a hospital NOT on bypass.

2/ They ripped a quarter of a billion a year out of the state power system, then had to flog it off when it became so unreliable the only way to keep food in your freezer was to own a generator to run it.

3/ They used water from the Joh built dams as a cash cow for years, until they suddenly ran out. Then they ripped the council owned water assets off the ratepayer to save their stinking skins.

4/ The vindictive bast4rds did that stupid council amalgamation to get back at the councils, when they objected to loosing water infrastructure councils had paid for.

4/ Spent billions, in panic, on a water grid that my grand kids will still be paying off.

5/ They built a desalination plant that has yet to produce anything except rusty PIPES.

6/ I heard they plan to pay hospital staff some time next year.

7/ They change the "urban foot print" plan biannually, [kickbacks anyone]. One area near us was announced 4 years ago as a future 2500 homes satellite city in 8 years. Reduced to 750 home city in 20 years last year. Now back to 2500 immediately a few months back.

8/ Anna opened the new Gateway, [or some damn fool name] bridge months back. I got lost 3 times in 2 days trying to find my way off & on the expressway at the southern end, as the signs aren't up even yet, let alone the roads done. One sign was behind a tree.

Talk about right/left hand. We have to laugh or we'd cry.

I think the worst stunt was council amalgamation followed by perpetuating Beattie's abysmal health system followed by insane hikes in registration fees followed by over-hiring of insanely useless consultants followed by perpetuating the utterly useless education strategies etc .... how long do you want the list to be ?
