Thanks for the best laugh I have had all day.

Long may you continue to wiggle your ears.

But... what happens when you peak, Jewely?

>>Through years of practise and concentration I am able to wiggle my ears without touching them.<<

Will your ear-wiggling continually improve in the coming years, and then - tragedy - suddenly decline, until you find them stubbornly motionless on each side of your skull?

Will you then be confined to reminiscence, on how, one day, you actually managed to wiggle with such ferocity, that you hovered for a few moments, inches above the earth?

I can see your grandchildren at your feet, shaking with suppressed laughter, as they hear the story for the fourteenth time.

Which all goes to show that the answer to the "peak" is simply... never look back.

Fractelle: "Thanks for the best laugh I have had all day."

I hope I haven't Peaked, I hope I can make you laugh regularly.

Pericles: "But... what happens when you peak, Jewely?"

Toes curl, usual stuff.

Perciles: "Will your ear-wiggling continually improve in the coming years, and then - tragedy - suddenly decline, until you find them stubbornly motionless on each side of your skull?
Will you then be confined to reminiscence, on how, one day, you actually managed to wiggle with such ferocity, that you hovered for a few moments, inches above the earth?"

Well I haven't tried that yet. I will however let you know how it all turns out.

"I can see your grandchildren at your feet, shaking with suppressed laughter, as they hear the story for the fourteenth time."

Well they're in for a damn sound kicking and they don't even exist yet.

"Which all goes to show that the answer to the "peak" is simply... never look back."

That could be it, you'd have to not let anyone else look back either

I once assumed that I had reached the pinncale of existance when I finally mastered the art of the raised right eyebrow. At the age of 15 I considered this gave me an air of world-weary cynicism that would bode me well throughout my life.

Unfortunately these days raising my right eyebrows merely lifts all the lines and wrinkles into strange convulutions and gives me the air of a mildly astonished Sharpei.

As Pericles wisely said: never look back. (especially if your right eyebrow is raised. The wind might change!)

Romany: “I once assumed that I had reached the pinnacle of existence when I finally mastered the art of the raised right eyebrow. At the age of 15 I considered this gave me an air of world-weary cynicism that would bode me well throughout my life.”

Too cool. One of my daughter’s friends can do it - it does give her that world-weary look. She has the biggest sticky outy ears I have ever seen though, wonder if she could wiggle them at the same time as the raised eyebrow. Now that would be an achievement to shame both of us off our peaks.

“Unfortunately these days, raising my right eyebrows merely lifts all the lines and wrinkles into strange convolutions and gives me the air of a mildly astonished Sharpei.”

Haha… that was a good one. Ohh! I can do that hand greeting like Spock, it gets better… both hands!

Hey do you know why I can post and then it won’t let me post for an hour and then on and on like that all day?

And I would ask in the Sever Error thread but Ginx and Graham are busy in there and I didn’t want to interrupt because I think they are having some kind of forum domestic. By the looks of it she’s winning.

"As Pericles wisely said: never look back. (especially if your right eyebrow is raised. The wind might change!)"

And never step back either, hubby does it all the time without looking and keeps treading on the children.
