I look to our north and see a very large manpower army.
I look further to the north and see a vast, almost unbelievable manpower army...growing larger and larger each year.
I look at Australia and I worry for her people especially now that most of the private semi-automatic firearms have vanished.
Are our defences sufficient for the next decade?

Geez Gibbo, just what type of Christian are you?

Semi-automatic weaponry for private citizens?

You are a very scary fellow.

Australia's expansive coastline makes it virtually indefensible, but what makes you so sure there are vast armies just waiting to invade our shores in the near future? Just what are you basing your claims on?

When you said you had moved further south I thought you meant to escape the cane toads, the most successful invader thus far - just what or who are you talking about?

Christians Johnny Rotten have always had an interest in all aspects of their nations, including defence.
Have a look at Nehemiah in the Old Testament for a godly man re-building the city walls against Gods enemies.
I got interested in defence through the discovery of revelations (visions and prophecies) from The Lord to good, solid, Bible-believing christians about an invader on Australian soil because of the sins of the people...and the search for more of them (Christian Revival coast to coast being the key to getting Gods help against this invader. he wont help a nation in sin). I wont subject the reader to these revelations, there's just so many, unless asked. The material is unnerving and yes I did leave QLD because of them. I see the enemy, in those days, a way off yet, as moving as far south as Byron Bay, NSW (from the book WHAT WILL BECOME OF AUSTRALIA by pastor Jack Burrell 1975). It seemed wise considering the state of Australias national defences (pop out and hire "Red Dawn" with Patrick Swayze. You will get a clear picture of Australias national defences as we see them today). Youre right about wide-open to invasion yet nothing much has been done beyond the regular army etc and the weekend warriors for decades. Defence Minister Brendan Nelson writes to me and says "no citizens home guard defence force is needed". If only he knew! After the Port Arthur massacre 10 years ago Mr. Howard took all of the semi-automatics off the gun clubbers and the farmers... BUT... did he put a compensating number of military handweapons back into the defence cupboard. To my knowledge no! Does anyone have any ideas that might help Defence? Both Indonesia and China wait for a change in the world military climate, which can happen. I dont want pagan nations on Australian soil. The visions and prophecies say that an enemy... actually got here.

Brendan Nelson wrote to you telling you that no "citizens defence home guard is needed?!".

Good grief. What is it you suggested to him?

Actually, don't answer that. It already scares me that there are fundamentalists like you living out there, readying themselves for some imaginary apocalyptic conflict.

It would be funny if it were a caricature. But you're not normal Gibo. You are aware of that right?

I sincerely suggest you seek help, for your own mental health and well being.

If you think buying second hand, two decade old tank technology and two amphibious, easily attacked and destroyed sea vessels is security (which no doubt most Australians will embarrassingly glow with nationalistic pride over), then yes.

The real tragedy is the government spending.

Maybe if "they" are growing stronger and stronger each year and if you really believe that they are definitely going to be a threat at some time in the future, then a military pre-emptive strike would have to be the best strategy.

Otherwise we could develop some really serious WMDs and rattle some sabres - maybe obliterate some small Pacific nation as an example.

I'll leave that up to you Gibo.

You go on ahead. We'll all be along in just a moment.
