Good solid christian prophecies. Good solid christian visions. Visions from The Holy Spirit to christians who have been born again many, many years... who pray daily, read their Bibles or listen to The Word on tape everyday, who fellowship with other christians ongoing, who witness to Jesus Christ and His Glory as The Lord leads. Real committed people led by The Holy Spirit. I know the "signs of the times" because Ive been watching them for 24 years. In the endtimes its little other than wars, earthquakes, famines, diseases (Luke chapter 21), out of control crime (2 Timothy 3), the rise of "the beast", the worlds final dictator (Revelation 13:16-18/14:9-11)...and the great Chinese outward march (Revelation 9:16 and 16:12). China is building now. Have a look. Why does she build when she is under no threat. She gets ready for a clash with the USA. In a day of invasion we stand alone. If the enemy gets through the planes and the ships and the subs, which they will, then on Australian soil its "Red Dawn". Ordinary men and women with bolt action and lever action rifles and maybe an old Armalite out of defence stores. The present 80,000 or so Austyrs the army has would feed little other than a pip squeak home guard. The Chinese would eat this country. Brendan Nelson has, to my knowledge, no knowledge of christian prophecy. He's like the rest who shelter in their hearts under the US nuclear umbrella. They have no experience with Gods people or prophecy or visions at all. Theres a whole world apart out there where The Holy Spirit moves amongst ordinary christian believers...and its such a precious place to be. Imagine knowing what God is going to do before it happens.

Seers throughout history have made a mint from the same chicanery. Go back a few decades and it would have been the Japanese or the reds under the bed. Or the Russians. Or the fascists, or whoever it is who is playing the role of boogeyman. I'm just surprised you didn't pick Islam, as they seem to be the threat-du-jour these days.

They have been buying rubbish for decades. Spending huge amounts of dollars on an enemy not getting here, but neglecting "when an enemy does get here".
The movie of the week is "Red Dawn" with Patrick Swayze if you want to see Australias defences if that enemy gets here...and I believe he will. High school kids with bolt action rifles is what the movie is all about.
I believe satan got hold of the defence spending people somewhere years ago and corrupted them with by their huge pride and led them into irresponsibility.
They know no secrecy either in Defence. A few years ago they built a $30million dollar ammo dump down near Eden, NSW and couldnt wait to tell the press so the great asian armies to our north could read where it was built. My longing for, is that one day the gun clubs will see the light! and the stupidity of whats been going on! and establish their own home guard and take the whole land-based defence thing out of defences' hands as far as the citizens are concerned. No pagan nations on Australian soil. They do not respect the women and the children.

Im only speaking about what I know is happening with revelations amongst the christian churches. Once upon I knew nothing of prophecy let alone an invader. Prior to 1983 I didnt even know Jesus as my Saviour. I had locked myself out of the christian world before that year. Once I gave my life to the Lord I began to hear things.
I dont like the work I do but I do care about my country and especially the women and children in a time of enemy soldiers on Australian soil. In the Old Testament time and time again God turned the children of Israel over to their enemies because they wandered over into idolatry and sexual immorality. It can happen here for the same reasons. I believe Islam is too disorganised to come south unless America gets so tied up fighting here and there (maybe one day with China over Taiwan) they cant come to our aid (click on invasion of australia david kriss). I got worried about defence when I saw the private guns go (not complaining about that...too many criminals around with guns) and when I observed no replacement factor in defence arsenals. Even though the prophecies and the visions are about sin and a nation in sin and what can happen to a nation in sin I would still like to see a fighting chance for the people. As Mao said back in 1963 I think it was, recorded in Time magazine, he could put 200million soldiers into the field anytime he wanted to. That 200million corresponds with the 200million of Revelation 9:16 and 16:12. Theres a hole, I believe, between the loss of those private firearms and what exists for the citizens in defence arsenals. I want that hole filled. I dont expect nukes to be used in any defence of Australia. Their use might trigger a bigger conflict.

What I don't get, Gibo, is that if this impending military invasion is part of a prophecy that is in turn a portent of the imminent Apocalypse and Rapture - why are you worried about it?

Aren't you going to be whisked off by Jesus or a flying saucer or something (Jesus in a flying saucer?) just before the end?

So then Gibo, what do you suggest before Jesus comes? It might be hard to get enough migrants or breed fast enough to form an army big enough to repel 200 million, so how about less labour intensive protections like atomic weapons microbial agents?
