Dear Paul,

«BUT it ain't happened yet, the Zionist-Nazi's are still killing innocent men, women and children in Gaza.»

39 minutes ago, it was reported that the IDF was ordered to prepare for withdrawal.

The ratio of the Australian dollar to the Israeli Shekel has now fallen to an unprecedented 2.14 and I believe those who put their money on it.

"You think I care if other people call me names?"

I'm not calling you names. Just putting labels on your attitudes. Let's face it , you've been anti-Israel and anti-Jew for a very long time - all the way back to the Arjay days. Its got nothing to do with their conduct of the war. That's just the latest excuse for your outbursts.

"That's not negotiating in good faith."

Well that was quick. You've gone from "here are no negotiations" to there are negotiations but not the type you like. All in less than a day!!

But these are good faith negotiations. But they aren't negotiations between equals. Hamas comprehensively lost the war and the negotiations are just about the surrender terms.

Netanyahu said at the outset, just after 7/10, that the M-E would look very different by the time the war ended. And boy was he right. Hezzbullah all but gone. Assad skulking around in Moscow. Houthis put in their place. Iran humiliated and now trying to placate their restive people. And now Hamas surrendering. A more comprehensive victory for Israel is hard to imagine

It won't make the slightest difference to most but it should nonetheless be read in full...

We all know that Netanyahu can't survive without war.
(Or some of us anyway)
His religious nut henchmen Smotrich and G'vir will ensure he keeps to no deal,
- And if somehow that doesn't work some crazed settlers will go and burn a Palestinian family alive or try to assassinate Netanyahu
And all the bs will start again.

There are vested interests in Israel that do not want peace.
Palestinians may very well just not want to be ruled over by the Nazis
Hard to know really whilst they lack self determination.

I'm sure the ongoing war is taking a toll on the Gazans.

You watch,
As soon as Israel gets their hostages back,
Netanyahu will come up with some bs to say Palestinians are not observing the ceasefire and go back in.
It will probably be something like - Israel blows something up with airstrikes again like a hospital, and pretend they didn't breach any deal and then when Palestinians do something minor in response, Israel will say Hamas broke the ceasefire and we have to go back in.

So tell me mhaze, Yuyutsu,

Do we have a full unedited cope of the deal we can add to the thread?
That way when the deal is claimed to be broken, we can all see exactly what was agreed upon.

A lot of parts of that peace plan I saw were vague, and probably deliberately so.

Netanyahu has no choice but to try to get the hostages back.
But he's going to end up in prison if there's real peace.

What can he do?
Attack Iran again.

I can't see Hamas handing over their weapons to Israel.
I can't see them willing to be ruled over by anyone other than Palestinians.
I don't see Hamas gaining much more by keeping the hostages either though.
They might have more to gain by giving them up.

Lets see if they give up their guns. doubtful.

On the other side maybe Israel may also be taking a lot of troop losses in Gaza as well.

Dear Critic,

«Yom Kippur War, a war that broke out on October 6, 1973, (more or less) exactly 50 years before the October 7 attack.»

Yom Kippur is on the 10th day of the first month of the Jewish calendar (Tishrey) while Simchat Torah is on the 22nd of Tishrey. Being a lunar calendar, dates rarely match the solar calendar exactly, normally only every 19 years.

«Israel blows something up with airstrikes again like a hospital, and pretend they didn't breach any deal and then when Palestinians do something minor in response, Israel will say Hamas broke the ceasefire and we have to go back in.»

This time Trump holds a big bone in his jaws - Nobel Prize, so he won't let go of it and Netanyahu will just have to obey him like a small poodle in front of a German shepherd.

«Netanyahu has no choice but to try to get the hostages back.
But he's going to end up in prison if there's real peace.

What can he do?
Attack Iran again.»

Well, he can also get a heart attack, or commit suicide, or receive amnesty from Israel's president and/or asylum in the U.S.A.

Oh, and there are still plenty of other countries to attack... for example, how about Australia?

Thinking of it again, does a country need to actually exist for him to declare a war on (and therefore a state of emergency and suspension of elections)?

The peace won't last because of the belief that moslems MUST kill Jews
and Christians.
Anyone who would trade on the bodies of the dead like Hamas has done
really is not part of this world.
I think most people think there will be peace for a year, even two
but sooner or later it will start up again with a different name.
If Nth Korea does supply Iran or its successor with nuclear weapons
then I think the US, Britain and France will finish the Middle East for good.
