Dear Paul,
We've read so many bad comments about refugees on this forum. Yet our immigration system has always been selective according to skills and need as far as I know and also we're obligated to take in a certain number for humanitarian reasons. Anyway, I wonder of those people making these "anti" comments really know what it feels to live in camps? Do people really understand why others leave their countries, their homes and flee? To many it's not about economics. Many are forced to leave for persecution and by violence which caused the death of family members, relatives, and fellow citizens. Often it's not just a single house that's been destroyed but entire villages, cities, suburbs vanish under indiscrimiante bombing. There's no where for them to stay and fleeing is the only way to stay alive - is by fleeing. I think this refugee crisis is not about them. It's about us. And those of us who prioritize financial gain over people. Some of us on this forum - have been called "do-gooders". Well, I for one would rather be known for "doing good" than harm - I think most reasonable people would agree. I'll repeat what I wrote earlier - by establishing the understanding that we all belong to one humanity is the most essential step for how we might co-exist on this sphere we call earth. Foxy said- "Often it's not just a single house that's been destroyed

A- You could argue that Israeli encroachment upon "Palestinian territory" is similar to the immigrant encroachment upon "Anglo territory" within Australia. You could compare and contrast the destruction by bombing, with the destruction by immigration, and ethnic replacement. Many of the arguments against Israeli Settlements can also be used against Australian and UK Immigration. Sadly in many cases people of Anglo descent have been complicit in the betrayal of Anglo Australian people. http://news.un.org/en/story/2022/10/1129942 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_settlement Posted by Canem Malum, Sunday, 19 January 2025 11:34:18 PM

Foxy said "I believe that the "Lakemba" mosque incidents were driven by an extremist imam who finally lost his job
and went overseas. There were incidents of Muslims being accused of "rape gangs" who turned out to be Lebanese Christians." http://forum.onlineopinion.com.au/thread.asp?discussion=10532#367530 A- I don't think from the information below that Bilal Skaf appears to be Christian, in fact he appears to be Muslim. But anyway I think it's fair to say there was a racial/ cultural component to the Lakemba Rape Gangs. It's very concerning that it appears that the younger brother was recently released from prison. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilal_Skaf "In March 2003, he was charged with writing a threatening letter to Corrective Services NSW Commissioner, Ron Woodham.[1] The letter had been found in an internal prison mailbox. The letter said: "Don't take this as a threat but if all Muslims aren't released by January 2003 Australia and citizens will be in danger of bombing". White powder had been put into the letter." "While awaiting a court appearance for the letter incident, in July 2003, drawings of gang rape were discovered in Skaf's prison cell. The drawings depicted violence and rape against his former fiancée, who had ended their relationship in March 2003." Posted by Canem Malum, Monday, 20 January 2025 12:13:32 AM

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005_Cronulla_riots
"On 12 December, rioters had written various messages including; "Aussi [sic] to Die", "Intifada", "It's war", "Sunday cowards die, Soldiers rize [sic]", "Never rest assie [sic] dog", "We came in planes yous came by chains u convict dogs", and "We fear no ozy [sic] pigs" before continuing to destroy cars and local shops.[32] Approximately 2000 people gathered inside Lakemba Mosque with another 800 gathered outside the evening after the riot.[33] Sheikh Shady Alsuleiman spoke to the crowd and called for calm.[33] However some were armed with Glock pistols which were displayed to the media.[22] At least some of the people gathered were reported to have planned to go on to Maroubra;[32] however the police blocked roads leading into Maroubra and 20 police cars surrounded the mosque.[32] The Uniting Church in Auburn,[31] a predominantly Tongan congregation,[31] was burned and those attending Christmas carols were abused and threatened.[31] More than 30 Molotov cocktails were also confiscated by police." "Street gangs and power brokers were instrumental in negotiating peace between factions, including The Comancheros M C and Bra Boys Maroubra. Other gangs that played a role in stopping reprisal attacks were The Arncliffe Boys, The Mortdale Southside Alliance, Bankstown Boys, Jannali Boys, and Muslim Brotherhood members." ______________________________ I suppose that rape is often an element of ethno/ cultural dominance. In this case a dominance of someone of Lebanese descent over people of European descent. One that Foxy may be complicit in, because she seemingly chooses to ignore and act as an apologist for it Posted by Canem Malum, Monday, 20 January 2025 12:18:30 AM

education is the key to a bright future
Paul1405, Couldn't agree more. Right now would be a good time to put an end to Woke indoctrination & start education ! Free education for those who can be educated ! Merit must replace ignorant idealist acquiescence ! Posted by Indyvidual, Monday, 20 January 2025 6:22:28 AM

Thanks for that.
I think - being a new year I should be more selective
with who I inter-act on this forum. I'll try to stay away
from the ones that are so negative.
Thanks for continuing to post.
