It is pure, unadulterated fear. But what are they afraid of?
Aries54,
You say fear, I say warranted concern ! Afraid of ? Many are concerned of indoctrinated & natural stupidity gaining in numbers which is what we've been witnessing ever since the Woke's predecessors have started to be proud of being stupid & full of hate for something no-one's actually told them yet.
You need to take into consideration that being human does not automatically equate to qualify as people who are owed a living. Knowing less than other yet believing to know more is the core of the Woke. And, that is the real concern because they don't contribute yet they breed !
Most definitely not a good basis for a well-functioning symbiotic society !
Throw in many cultures & you end up with what we have now !

Each of us tends to move in our own circles - be they
family, friends, or colleagues. With people that we
know and trust. That's human nature. Others are
attracted by differences, the exotic. Hence people's
wish to travel to unknown places to experience something
different.

In Australia today, we don't have to travel very far to
experience something different - be it in food, or culture.
One thing that does help is - respecting differences helps
create a more inclusive, equitable and harmonious society.

Not making assumptions, not pre-judging. Treating everyone
as an individual - and accepting people for who they are
often works wonders.

But if that doesn't work for you - then simply stick to
your own kindred spirits. Nobody will force you to go
outside your own comfortable sphere where you feel more
at home. Most people prefer to associate with those
who have something to contribute anyway instead of
bleating, whinging, and complaining. There's something we
can all do without - as there are enough problems around
just getting through the day, without adding any more.
I'm sure that's something we can all agree on.

A person who sees joy in life is a much happier person to
be around than one who sees only fear and division and has
a "them" and "us" complex.

So if you want to continue to complain - go nuts. But please
stay away from me. I don't need your misery.

Foxy,
It's easy to only see joy if you choose to ignore reality ! Ask the many victims of incompetent bureaucrats how much joy they see. You were a Librarian who spent all her work time in a nice quiet environment. Ask a Police Officer or Social worker or a nurse etc as to how much joy they see in their daily life with a hell of a lot more responsibility than a librarian !
I was in essential services work most of my 52 years of working where we had the constant frustrations of people demanding yet not pulling their weight & incompetent bureaucrats making mind-bogglingly silly decisions !
I hardly ever saw joy except some relief when we got things working against the odds !!

Indyvidual,

Again you're making assumptions about people you don't know.
I've had a wide and varied career over two continents.
Not all of spent in libraries. And not all of it was nice
and quiet. However, as I said earlier - do whatever makes
you happy. I shall do the same.

We live in different worlds, obviously.

Just for your information - my career included retail
(David Jones) CSIRO, Universities, Consulates, Child
Protection Departments, Councils, Members of Parliament,
Mayors, Politicians, I've had works published, and much
much more.

I've been involved in the theatre, I've taught students of
different ages. and the list goes on.We should not compare
ourselves. Suffice to say that our experiences have been
different - and as a result so are our views on things.

This is not a competition. And differences should be
respected.

respected.
