Crime is a problem in any society, yes immigrants will commit crimes as will native born. You see something on the telly and immediately jump to the conclusion that those involved must be migrants. That's your prejudices, generally place of birth is not given in those kinds of 30 second news stories, but the likes of YOU will always assume the worse.
I believe you were a migrant, a lad at some stage, is this something based on your personal history? A simple question what country were you born in, you seem to be ashamed of it, was it some Mafia state, full of criminals? I'm proud to say I was born in Australia.

BTW; Stats indicate migrants generally commit crime at a lower rate than average.

You might, I don't. I'm a migrant & I don't run around stealing cars or breaking into homes. Most migrants I know don't do those things either.
Most security footage shows gangs of every complexion & they might not be migrants but they could likely be the sons & daughters of migrants just like most people here.
It can not be denied that there are certain migrant groups whose members do not assimilate & they're the ones drawing attention !

After letting in 3,000 untested Palestinians into our country, and allowing the same sort to shout what they like on our streets, the Albanese government has decided not to grant a visa to American Candace Owens. Minister Burke says Owens would spread discord in what would have been a short visit; but he is OK with the discord now regularly practised by people whom he has allowed to live in Australia.

The granting or denying of visas is being used by the Albanese government as a weapon in the culture wars. The refusal of a visa to Candace Owens has nothing to do with protecting Australia, or that Owens is a bad person: it is all about her having views not favoured by the Far Left Albanese government.

The Albanese government continues making Australia out to be a nation of ignorant boofheads, when in truth, the main boofhead is the government, not the people. Boofhead Burke has a nice ring to it. Burke can rightly be accused of using visas as a weapon against anyone he disagrees with. And, will the embarrassment and silliness of granting 3,000 unvetted Palestinians TOURIST visas ever be lived down!

The Council of Australian Jewry has taken to the Federal Court the Islamic preacher Wissam Haddad, aka Abu Ousayd, for an anti-Semitic rant he published online last year.

Haddad/Ousayd described Jews as being “vile and treacherous” and claimed that their hands are “everywhere”, “in business”, “in the media”.

The Council believes that this Islamist has contravened sec.18c of Racial Discrimination Act. They hope to deter other people from using racism in promoting their political views.

The Albanese government is not doing anything to protect Australian Jews. Perhaps the court can.
