Accepting the world is changing is a completely different issue to the million immigrants issue.
WE don't control what the rest of the world does.
WE don't even control what our own government does.
But hey, you love democracy and the immigrants in this country with voting rights, well they seem to like immigrants too.

Western society and culture is already in peril in places like the UK and Europe - 54% of London's population, for instance, is now made up of immigrants from Third World countries.

Why do you hate coloured people?

People, societies, are changing - not the world.

This has not changed the rights of sovereign countries to control their borders and decide who comes in and who does not.

We “don't even control what our own government does” because WE DO NOT WANT TO. We keep voting for the same self-serving characters, no matter what they do to us. But, the ballot gives us the opportunity to control the government. We are just too slack, too disinterested, to do our duty.

We even have to be forced to vote. If voting was not compulsory, as it is not in most countries, about 50% of Australians would not bother to vote.

Stop blaming “the world”, other intimate objects, and other people. We get the governments we deserve because we are simply top lazy, or stupid, to vote properly. We will eventually enslave ourselves as the people in China, Russia and most of the Third World are already enslaved.

You and other people have “crapped out” this country, AC. Nothing is more pathetic than recognising what is wrong, blaming other people and things, then turning over and going back to sleep.

Walking around our big cities today the most
evident change is the face of Australia. In
our last census we learned that a large percentage
of our population has been born outside our borders.

Decades ago about half of our migrants came from the
UK, the rest from Europe, New Zealand, North America.
Nowadays we're told that the largest source seems to be
from Asia with India and China providing the rest.

Of course it's depressing to read the world news. It's
full of conflict with European leaders lamenting
that "multiculturalism has failed." Yet although our
society is not perfect we've managed to create a society
that remains contrary to most developed countries.

The reason for this is not only because Australians are
easy-going and respectful of, and interested in other
cultures but it could be due to the fact that we don't
regard national identity by reference to a common race,
ethnicity, religion or cultural background.

Our national identity is defined by a common commitment
to Australian values of democracy, the rule of law,
respect for the rights of individuals, a healthy
scepticism for authority, and a deep sense of a fair go.

We are a caring people with a stronger safety net than the
Americans. Most of us in this country do have the confidence
that our fellow Australians will make the right decisions
for their families, their businesses, and their nation.

Australia has come a long way these past hundreds of years.
From humble beginnings, Australia has become a thriving modern
nation. Australian identity is not a fixed point in the
heavens but a speeding comet that blazes brightly and flits
around the night-sky refusing to remain stationary.
Today, we don't have to travel very far - we have everything
in our own backyard to enjoy and appreciate.

Hungry....zero bombings; 3.9 rapes per 100,000 people.
Poland....zero bombings; 3 rapes per 100,000 people.
Sweden....236 bombings; 78 rapes per 100,000 people.

(hint - Sweden has lots of MENA immigrants - Poland and Hungry proudly have none.)

I'm not sure European women would be all that thrilled about the wonderful changes immigration has bought to their land.

Perhaps they should just lay back and think of the greater good!

Foxy, I hope your idealistic & optimistic views of "multiculturalism" hold true, it would be a wonderful thing, but history has an unpleasant way of shoving in our faces the excess of government ideologies, poorly thought out policies and plain, simple manipulation by the puppeteers. Australia today is not the same one your parents brought you up in. The recent, extremely violent, home invasion committed in Perth by a prospective " Model citizen " (ex detainee) released by our warm & fuzzy justice system should be a clarion call to anyone with half an idea of what is coming.

The Chinese CCP, being ushered into Australia - with open arms by Comrade Albanese, will make the Nazis look like choir boys in comparison. Uhighurs tell of atrocities not seen since Pol Pot, and the Killing Fields. All the while "re-education" camps are being set up on an unimaginable scale throughout China. The only thing that will save Australia in the few short years we have, is the Chinese populace rising up against their own political and industrial leaders.
