Thanks ttbn- a bit of fun. Paul1405 thinks a circle (or horseshoe) is a two dimensional surface.

We are all constrained by our perception of reality- but some more than others- at least Paul1405 recognizes that the linear "Left and Right" one dimensional model of the political terrain is over simplistic.

See here the Political Compass- still faulty but better.

The Green Book of Watermelonism- I can see the slaughter in the town square- million's dead clubbed by solar panels and Japanese green tea boughs by Greta Thumberg clones to celebrate the parody parade of their thousand year cult-ture.

Religion is a wonderful thing.
It allows one to believe in whatever they choose and unites the like minded.
Where would we be without it?

Foxy,

" Prayer. And it takes you to a different dimension."

So does mediation. In fact, I think they are two sides of the same coin.

I used to have a statuette of 'The Thinker' (http://demandware.edgesuite.net/sits_pod25/dw/image/v2/AAOI_PRD/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-ArsMundi-Catalog/default/dwa9d2fd37/images/093666_1.jpg) behind which I added a picture of Christ in the dessert (http://christianitymalaysia.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/jesus-in-the-desert.jpg).

Two figures in roughly the same pose. One thought he was talking to the deity, one thought he was pondering the nature of the universe. I suspect they were both doing the same thing.
