I hold with the horseshoe political theory concerning extreme politics, where what we call the far left and far right, rather than being diametrically opposed to each other, they have much in common, like Hitler and Stalin, Trump and Putin. mhaze fits in there somewhere, not sure where, but somewhere.

Socialists applaud Trotsky- I consider him as pretty extreme- his ideas were worse than Stalin in my view. I'm not sure if Mao favoured Stalin or Trotsky but I suspect Trotsky if I had to guess. If you listen to the Labour Party closely you may be able to hear "the ghosts of communism past". Interesting that communists want to replace Christmas and probably Charles Dicken's too, as well as Shakespeare.

all sorts. Take one example - he was a bad
dog yesterday. He is a bad dog today, and he will
