On Tueday it was reported that Lachlan Murdoch, Fox Corporation’s chief executive, paid substantial legal fees to Crikey publisher, Private Media, after abandoning his defamation lawsuit against the outlet.

Also, Fox and the voting equipment company Dominion reached a U.S. $787.5m settlement ending a dispute over whether the network and its parent company knowingly broadcast false and outlandish allegations that Dominion was involved in a plot to steal the 2020 U.S. election.

Another election technology company, Smartmatic, filed a $2.7 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox in February 2021, accusing the news network of falsely implicating the company in a bogus narrative about vote rigging in the 2020 election. In May a New York judge agreed the case could proceed.

Despite Carlson's obvious open attempts to focus on Pelosi, Sund was reasonably even handed, acknowledging it was both Mitch McConnell and Pelosi who were wary of the optics.

So right-wing media is still going strong in one sense but a lot more people are aware of what they are being sold.

It is interesting where the Herald Sun has ended up after the State election down here in Victoria. They were so blatantly biased that they are regarded as the equivalent of Sky News now and pretty well dismissed with regard to imparting factual news.

The only right wing media in Australia is not known to most Australians; it is known only to genuine conservatives using it as their version of the Benedict Option, and as a refuge from Leftist lunacy. Answer- It seems that the courts have moved to the communist side according to the movement of the Overton Window- so maybe the backing down from the lawsuit is a sign that "little Crikey" has a lot more "legal muscle" than it appears- they deserve a bit more study as to why they might have more legal muscle than a multi-national media organization with decades of experience.
Communist societies have been proven to be pretty disfunctional and so if the western world has moved in this direction then we can expect things to break more. The interesting point about that is the increasing irrelevance of the traditional media. The whole Trump revolution was possible because he was able to go over the head of the left-wing media gatekeepers and talk directly to the people (his people). The Mueller group couldn't drop the charges quick enough showing that even they knew the charges wouldn't hold up in court.

So again, for the slow.... no, nada, nix, evidence that there was collusion between Russia or Russians or Russian groups and Trump or his campaign. Of course silly old Foxy was asserting that the collusion was with Putin, and not even the most deranged Democrats now asserts that.

The issue of whether the diary was stolen revolves on semantics. It was left by the poor drug addled girl in an apartment and was found by subsequent residents. In ordinary parlance that means it wasn't stolen. But legally, found property not returned is stolen. Interesting that those rushing to defend the Biden crime family have to resort to legal nit-picking.

But as I said, there is literally no evidence that will move SR and his fanboys to understand what's going on. I provided a screen shot taken from the Ashley Biden diary showing, in her own handwriting, that she had showers with her father while a youngster, that the showers were inappropriate and that she considers them to be part of the reason for her problems later in life. Yet SR simply ignores it and pretends it doesn't exist.
